The North Face Pamir WindStopper Jacket - Men's

See my review titled "Solid, solid, solid" in which I observe, "I have a few other North Face items, but nothing as well made as this jacket. I can see this packed along for hiking and hunting. I may need another....."

This price for this item was too good NOT to invest in another in case one got lost/stolen/damaged, etc., so I bought a second one the same week. Nothing more to add. Repeat buyers must know something, eh?

These are known to fit close. Go with the XXL for room and hope for a good sleeve length.

The North Face Pamir WindStopper Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 24, 2009

I have been replacing my winter running and outdoor attire a few items at a time. I had a lot of fleece tops that were a bargin, but I know now that low price equals low features. I also have enjoyed my new Illuminite lightweight running jackets that are wind "resistant" and also bought a couple of Windstopper hats, so Lightweight and Windproof has been the theme.

This top is amazing. I'm 5'8" and usually buy a L so I can layer. Based on the reviews, I went with a Medium and it's perfect. Got to stand outside with it on in 30 degrees with a slight breeze while I threw Frisbee for the pups and was completely comfortable. The materials and construction is first rate. I have a few other North Face items, but nothing as well made as this jacket. I can see this packed along for hiking and hunting. I may need another.....
