Great Light Jacket

Marmot Ion Windshirt - Women's

Marmot Ion Windshirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 February 4, 2009

I have this jacket in a size small in a silver color. I bought it directly from Marmot so that might be why there is less colors here. Either way regardless of this this jacket is great. It is very lightweight and fit me perfectly I am short around 5 ft 1 and it ended around my waist. I wore this jacket in class 5 rapids on a rafting trip in Costa Rica and it didn't rip once when I fell into the water. It is very durable and kept me reasonably warm in the heavy rain.

Good rain jacket

The North Face Resolve Jacket - Women's

The North Face Resolve Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 December 29, 2008

I bought this jacket strictly to protect against the windy and rainy days. I also wanted a hood that would come over my face more unlike my Marmot rain jacket that didn't fit over the top of my head thus my face getting wet anyways.

I am short and this jacket hits just below my hips which is good if you wish to wear any type of layer underneath. It is pretty thin but I haven't found myself to be too chilly in it, though if the temp is low I would recommend a base layer fleece or something to help keep you warm.

good pack for small sized

Kelty Moraine Backpack - 3300-3600 cu in

Kelty Moraine Backpack - 3300-3600 cu in

Rating for this product: 4 December 29, 2008

I am really short so I wanted a pack that would fit me as a woman and also someone who has a short torso. The great thing about this Kelty pack is that it does exactly that. You can actually see my head above the pack! Besides that though you can fit maybe about a week's clothing in it depending on how much you wish to wear etc. It is relatively small but it's extremely comfortable once you pack it full. It has the nice double drawstring feature on the top so you can assure your belongings won't fall out. I also like the top pocket and the pocket in the actual hood. This is a great value priced pack.

nice flexi hat

The North Face Never Stop Baseball Hat

The North Face Never Stop Baseball Hat

Rating for this product: 4 December 29, 2008

I bought this as a gift and ended up keeping it for myself even though I never wear baseball caps. Not only is the design cool but it's really comfortable because it's made out of that flex material. Also it is one size so there is no way to adjust it. So if you have a small head I would pass on this hat. The bill is malleable and covers your face nicely.

good wintery glove

The North Face Denali Glove - Women's

The North Face Denali Glove - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 December 29, 2008

I read a lot of reviews before I actually bought these gloves. I went to a sporting good store and tried them on in person because it was easier for me to determine the correct hand size. i have really small hands so I wasn't sure if I needed a kid sized glove or not. However, I found that I fit very comfortable in the small sized glove. I also like that the glove as extra wrist coverage on me. I don't know if you would call it the wrist guard or what but it's nice to have that extra area covered either above or inside your jacket. I like the grips on the palm and the fingertips. It makes these the perfect driving glove in that regard.

They keep my hands warm in around 30 degree weather but granted if it was pouring rain they would not offer much in that area. Still a good glove if you need a "grab and go" set near your car keys.

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Women's

December 2, 2008

I fit in the small and the extra small. The extra small is a perfect fit but doesn't allow much room for more layers other than a t-shirt. If you want to wear a sweater the small is a better choice. Because I am very petite I chose to get the x small because the sleeves of the small were too long on me.

Good Buy

The North Face Amplitude Triclimate Jacket - Women's

The North Face Amplitude Triclimate Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 February 27, 2008

I bought this jacket not that long ago. Where I live it's very windy and there is a lot of snow and rain during the winter season. I needed to buy a jacket that had a hood and that was waterproof but also I did not want one of those really bulky jackets. I am a short person so I understand not wanting a jacket that is really long on us or like I mentioned bulky.

This jacket was neither. I especially enjoy that it has the option to wear the thicker inner layer or not. I wear the outershell with a thinner fleece on the warmer days and am never cold. This jacket as a lot of great pockets, inside and out and as the arm pit vents which is nice. I bought a small and I am happy with it, the sleeves are a little long but the inner shell fits snugly. For this reason I am glad I got the small because the outershell is big enough to wear thicker or thinner inner layers.
