While not cheap...it does as advertised. Softer and more comfortable than most wool based products, it provides great warmth and wears well. Any outdoor activity done in cold weather will be much more enjoyable with this acting as a buffer between the skin and the weather. I bought three and they get plenty of use. Thumbs up!!!

Awesome buy for price. Solid quality and functionality. Will do everything goggles two times the price. I run with them in blizzard conditions and snowshoe. Good ventilation and visibility. Won't dissappoint you.

It is light and works perfect as a second or outer layer for my winter trail running or snowshoeing. Maybe as a light fall or spring jacket but it is too light to be a primary in any real cold weather. It does what I bought it for. Price is reasonable when on sale and has Marmot quality.

First time buying a Backcountry brand item, doing so because of a coupon. I was startled by how well made and comfortable these socks are. I have Thorlo's, The North Face, Patagonia, and Wigwam light, medium, and heavy socks, and these are just as good as any of them. The lightweight was actually a little heavier that most other brand lightweights, placing it as a light-medium weight. Just awesome for my trailrunning passions. These are the best buys in socks I have ever come across. Could use some different colors as there were only two available, but I have no complaint...all socks end up dirty after a few runs anyway. You will not be disappointed with these at a great value.

Best all around outdoor activity belt ever. Got one on a lark after reading reviews; functional, stylish without the frills, easy to adjust, stays put when cinched up, and great quality for the money. I also get asked about it all the time. You can't go wrong here! Cut it to fit (leave room for shirt tucks and future growth...better to cut it too long than too short!), melt the end with a macth or lighter, and strap it on. No regrets here!

These are great. Nice fit. Don't itch as day goes on. Wick moisture and keep your feet warm. I hike alot, and these perform awesomely for outdoor activity or daily wear.

I have been trail-running for 25-years from Arizona Sonoran Deserts to High Alpine Forests. I have worn ASICS, Adidas, Nike, Brooks, New Balance, and Montrail trail shoes; never have I had a shoe that fits so well, provides so much protection, traction, and comfort. I would wear these for everyday activities except I might not look so forward to sliding these on for my trailruns. Best pure trail shoe ever.

This shoe is great buy considering how kids feet grow. The performance (fit, traction, water-resistence, comfort, style, etc.)are hard to beat. My daughter loves 'em and wears them with varying weights of socks depending on weather. Don't recommend for ankle deep snow. That's what full boots are for. Won't be disappointed with these.

Best light-weight kids boot outside of The North Face. These are comfortable, protective, weather resistant, look great, and at a very affordable price. My daughter loves them and wears them around constantly. Vary sock weight for variable weather.

These are the most comfortable, functional, stylish, snow, slush, heavy rain, boots I've ever owned. Warm? It's like walking on a Cabo Beach in June when it's below zero out and the snow and wind are trying to highjack your wardrobe. I have found the best all-around cold weather boot and it's name is Baltoro. Recommend the 200 gram-thinsulate if temps are not below freezing and the 1000 gram-thinsulate if it is constantly below 20-degrees "F" outside. For everything between, the 400-gram does the job. Your feet will sing your praises!

Best light weight hiking pants on market. Great fit and style. Super functionality with all pockets. Held up well all summer and look like new (almost...I have a wear spot on knee where I planted it to climb a basaltic column). Can wad these up, pull 'em out, and they look like they just came out of the dryer. Not for rough activities but weren't designed to be.

Bought two pair this fall for trail-runs through the Northern Arizona alpine forests. Great support and comfort. Will wear as a base layer this winter when the snow flies and the wind is knifing through normal clothing. I will agree with other reviewers that you need to up a size. I wear mediums for a perfect fit in all other pants type wear, when I got these for my first run, they felt short and during the entire 6-miles, they kept pulling down and I was constantly yanking them up ("sagging" is unbecoming and unsafe when solo-running in the backwoods). Backcountry took 'em back and exchanged them for larges with no hassle. The larges fit perfect. Backcountry has made me a loyal customer. These tights won't dissappoint.

Snug fit and super feel, it's what UnderArmour is about. This doesn't dissappoint. This item goes further with a great fleece type lining that provides incredible warmth as a base payer or moderate protection as solo-wear. The vetilated armpits work well. I wore it one day when it was about 70-degrees out and it was too much. Keep it under 50 and this will outperform most other similair products. If you don't like body-snuggling fit, go to something more loose. This does what it is advertised to do.

For light cool or cold spells, this is perfect. Doesn't cut wind like the Windstopper or snow type gloves, but this keeps hands and fingers from feeling the bite of the initial cold. They don't decrease dexterity too much either. I have sereval gloves for each type of weather. These are the most used of them all.

These rock! They are perfect for cool to cold without moisture environments. The wind is stopped dead-on as opposed to the Denali's (another great glove for less extreme weather). I have several The North Face gloves for every expected weather condition. These do as advertised, warmth and wind resistant. You will not be dissappointed with these. The design, technology, fit, and price are flawless.

Bought one for wife as an alternative to the scarves she wears in the winter. She wore it for the first time last week and raved over it. Comforable, not itchy, stylish and can fit into a coat pocket when not needed (try that with a scarf). My daughters have the Smartwool Neck Gaiter and love it too for the same reasons. Excellent Fit. Flagstaff gets major cold. These tights fit exactly as stated, smooth, not itchy, and provide solid protection from ambient chill and wind. Not so bulky as to bunch up when on. Good buy and won't be disappointed.

This is the best lightweight, wind and rain protection, in a portable package to come down the pike. Amazing. You will freak out with this concept and quality. I take it on my trail-runs in Flagstaff when the clouds are forming and those unexpected rains sweep through. Combine with long-sleeve base layer and give yourself a break on the weather changes.

Super nice fabric with smooth feel. Good warmth. Use as a base layer or solo top. BUT, found that the fit in the arm pits was tight. I'd like to think it's my guns, but that's too optimistic. Seems they are just cut so that material pinches in, especially when armes are raised. Sort of irritating. Otehr than that, I love it for what it was designed to do. HH could add a couple of centimeters and make this perfect.

Best gaiter for the money. Awesome colors and smooth fit. All the girls in my family got one and love it. Beter than scarfs and less hassle. Fashionable and functional.

These work as advertised. Will fit any shoe or boot and dig in like a gravedigger in a cemetary. Best product on market and can be place on and taken off is a couple of seconds. This is a match for any ice, snow, or slush. Not recommended for ballroom dancing!!!
