Great shoes,i love them! The down turned last hooks onto even the steepest climbs, and the rubber uppers are great for toe hooking. If you like steep climbs, buy these now.

I used these in kandersteg last weekend along with BD turbo express and I feel these are better. The BD's bite into the ice quicker but, these have an overall easier placing. Much easier to use with gloves and one handed, also how the head is angled away from the ice. Your second doesn't have to worry about dropping them because they can stay clip in. As a bonus they come with petzl ice flute for storage and racking. Definitely buy these over any other ice screw.

I really like this helmet. Not only is it very light, and well ventilated. It features an great adjustment system so it always fits whether your wearing a beanie or not.

I was ice climbing in Kandersteg, Switzerland last weekend. While belaying my second up the pitch in the Reverso mode, a huge block of ice fell from above and landed on my left shoulder, breaking my scapula, clavicle, some ribs and collapsed my left lung. I was belaying him off the V-thread i was anchored to so i was able to continue to easily belay him safely with my still functioning right arm despite my injuries. After reaching me at the top of the pitch I was able to be lowered and then taken to medical facilities at Interlaken. Had I used another device or not belayed off the anchor, I would not have been able to continue belaying my second safely, and he may not have reached me and lower me. Bottom line: The reverso 3 is a safe and easy device to use even in emergency situations resulting in a quicker rescue time.

This is a great shelter. I love how light and compact it is, and that is stows away easily. my only two complaints are that it needs factory taped seams instead of seam grip. Also the trekking poles in the middle get in the way when your getting busy in the woods with you partner. I would recommend bringing some guy-line with you for tying the tent up to a tree or something, then you can get rid of the annoying poles in you and your partners way.

I love this stove. very light very compact. I fit it inside my msr titan cup along with my brunton spork and a lighter.

I love this sleeping bag. It is THEE best summer sleeping bag I have owned. Big Agnes is ingenious with there bag design. With a little effort, it can also compact even smaller then the stuff size listed in tech specs, which is crazy small.

Rock shoes with crampons. Performed exceptionally well on steep and thin ice. the raptor crampon doesn't shatter the ice. Just like having a pair of BD laser picks on your toes. Very agile boots.

Very light, comfortable, out of the way helmet. Great on Ice.

Great for leashless climbing on steep ice. Very sticky. I use mine with with the jetstream glove liner (highly recommended) because these have no insulation.

This is an outstanding harness. Petzl didn't cut any corners when they made this harness. It's beefy and lightweight at the same time. I especially like how the strap that holds the belay loop in place is a solid piece of webbing and doesn't come undone.

This is a great lantern. It illuminates everything without blinding you. if you're going to get it go ahead and purchase the NRG rechargeable battery kit with it.
