Armada JJ Ski

October 12, 2009

I'm pretty much set on getting these....

Just wondering if I should go with the 175 or 185.

I'm 18 years old, 5' 9", 135 Lbs, and can ski anything, I also have a racing background so I ski pretty aggressively.

I've heard the 175's are like snowblades... but 185 is a lot of ski

Would the 185's be too much

Line Sir Francis Bacon Alpine Ski

March 5, 2009

Could i handle these?I'm 5' 9" and about 140 lbs but can hold it down on anything. I ski fast everywhere, and love to blow through the pow and catch some air. Just wondering if the 182 would be too much for me to handle?

Good Jacket, just don't break it

Marmot PreCip Jacket - Men's

Marmot PreCip Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 February 27, 2009

I had purchased this jacket in 2006, now in 2009 I am without any rain jacket at all.

Everything had been going great with the jacket until I accidently washed it. This totally delaminated the NCR, (the stuff that sheds the water) and now my active running shirts were more waterproof then this thing.

So I did what Marmot said to and sent it in on November 20th or so. 5 weeks later they sent me the wrong size in return. I quickly packed that one up and sent it back, only to realize that the warranty department had shut down for a few weeks over christmas.

I patiently waited until January 30th, when I wrote an email to the warranty department. (an address to the person listed as handling the return on the wrong size jacket). He said it takes roughly four weeks to process a claim, it had been six. And now it has been nine weeks and I have not heard anything or seen my jacket show up in the mail. I will write one more email, and after that I will only buy Mountain Hardwear,Patagonia or Arcteryx (If I can afford it)

I have the gloves but i assume these seams aren't taped any better.

I bought the gloves and after 1 use on the mountain some of the "welded" seams are tearing. I plan to send them in to Mountain Hardwear to get them repaired/refunded. I would, however, highly recommend the Mountain Hardwear company because they are owned by one of my hometown companies!! and the staff is very friendly.

A great idea, but it still needs some "patching up"

Great lens, not hard to replace

Oakley A Frame Goggle Replacement Lenses

Oakley A Frame Goggle Replacement Lenses

Rating for this product: 5 January 21, 2008

I do not know why everyone is having such a hard time replacing these. I just did one in under a minute. Just follow the directions and make sure all the slots are lined up and you're done.

I have the Hi-Intensity Yellow, and VR28 lenses and I think it's the perfect inexpensive combination.
The HI yellow's re great for the Northwest storms when you can't see anything, well with this lens you can.
The VR28 is excellent for sunshine and small clouds.
I will probably keep these lenses until i upgrade to crowbars.
