Outdoor Research Revel Jacket - Men's

May 5, 2009

OR says that this jacket can be packed into its own internal pocket that functions as a stuff sack. So far I haven't been able to figure out how to make it all fit in without it looking like a giant jacket-mess. Special way to do it or am I just missing something?

Not bad

Outdoor Research Revel Jacket - Men's

Outdoor Research Revel Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 9, 2009

I use this jacket as a waterproof/breathable shell over a softshell for skiing
+waterproof/breathable, just as advertised
+fits true to size
-Hood not helmet compatible
-Fabric feels very thin

but, worked great for me, survived some nasty spills and still looks great.

Good gloves for the price

DAKINE Titan Gloves

DAKINE Titan Gloves

Rating for this product: 4 March 9, 2009

I bought these gloves just in time for some really cold weather in WI. They're very warm without being bulky, and allow for good finger articulation. However, they're a little tight with the liners in them. Worked great for me when skiing in 0-10 degree F weather (with handwarmers). Sheds water/snow great. Excellent value for the price!
