This jacket is extremely warm and the only time it doesn't cut it are the days I break out the down jacket. It's not windproof, but is fairly resistant, probably due to the thickness. I give it 4 stars only because the stitches of the quilted parts rip easily. It doesn't change anything about the integrity of the jacket, it's just not quilted completely in a couple areas where it rubs a lot when I walk. It fits pretty accurately and stretches with time. It's nice and long.
