  • Stomping Grounds:

Starting around the Chesapeake, up to the North Shore, out to Ohio and down to Clearwater...
  • Bio:

This picture is of my favorite place on Earth, though it will all come to an end if the private island is opened up to so-called "eco-tourism."

I love to saltwater fish and kayak, though don't get out nearly as often as I want to...

I live and work in Maryland, but visit friends and family all up and down the East coast. My job keeps me outdoors all summer long, helping manage a sports stadium facility.

Weird Seams

The North Face At Ease Short - Women's

The North Face At Ease Short - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 April 1, 2009

I am going to return these shorts. They have a very weird seam that cuts across my butt and makes the shorts tighter in the back than I wanted them to be. There are also no pockets in the back, and I need lots of pockets!

They did run true to size in the waist, and I loved the length, but the fabric was not as heavy as a I wanted it to be. I was planning on wearing them to work outside in the summer, but they feel as if they are going to rip really easily.

Don't get these shorts if you've got a bigger butt, like I do... If you're skinnier, they're probably great.

Super Soft

The North Face Half Dome Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Mens'

The North Face Half Dome Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Mens'

Rating for this product: 5 April 1, 2009

I have worn this sweatshirt out in the backyard barbequeing every night since I bought it. Got it extra baggy to replace an old favorite sweatshirt that finally fell apart at the seams, and I love it. The lining is the softest of any sweatshirt I've ever owned. It is a lighter gray than the picture, but still decently dark in color. Also, it has a plastic zipper, which I actually like because there is no cold and rough metal to catch on my shirts underneath.

Fits well

The North Face Kirsten Racerback Tank - Women's

The North Face Kirsten Racerback Tank - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 1, 2009

This was my first North Face purchase in Women's clothing (I've always bought mens sweatshirts for the comfort, baggy factor.) I was really nervous that this shirt wasn't going to fit me (I'm 5'10" and am pretty big in the shoulders.) But I love it! The elastic armholes help keep this tanktop tight and covering without being too slender. I also love the length. I took the belt off, but you won't miss it and it still looks really sleek.
