Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro I.D. Ski Boot - Men's

October 20, 2010

27= 316 BSL I wear a 10.5 street shoe and am in a 27 Krypton shell. A good rule of thumb is size down one size from your street shoe, 26 or 26.5 (same shells) should be good starting point. Also these are not really wide boots.

After loosing my Gas Cans I tried these out. They fit good but the lens are alot closer to my face than my old Gas Cans, took a little getting used to. I got the Matte Black ones and I love the look but liked the fit of the Gas Cans Better.

Have this one and a Yukon HL but I use this the most. It's pretty small comfortable and very bright, the dimmer settings are nice feature. It seams to be pretty good with batteries to. Princeton Tecs customer is also top notch.

The North Face Ultra 103 XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

The North Face Ultra 103 XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 July 27, 2010

Great shoes especially on rocky uneven terrain where the stiff sole is put to it's best use. They are also on the heavy side. The gore-tex is a great feature and is definitely water proof but you don't really want to go stomping around in any puddles or streams with these, if you go in water above your ankle you'll have to take your shoes off to drain the water out. Other than that these shoes have served me well and been very durable.

Looks goofy, but worth it!

GoPro HD Helmet HERO

GoPro HD Helmet HERO

Rating for this product: 5 July 27, 2010

Yes these do look dumb on your helmet, but when your riding with your buddies something funny or stupid always happens right, well put one of these on your head then you can have the footage to watch over and over and laugh your ass off! The quality of this camera is really amazing for $300, the sound is also really good too. I like to use the back plate with the holes in it for skiing the sound is deff better, just cove the holes with tape so the camera dose not get wet. Only draw back in performance is the snow dose get blown out on bright sunny days but it only really looks bad if your riding wide open bowls, there is no definition to judge the terrain and it's pretty hard to watch back on a monitor. Also if you crash hard you get the dreaded CMOS jelly vision to go along with your aches and pains. Be sure and get a class 4 or higher memory card, I usually use a 16gb PNY card I picked up from wall mart for $40 and it has worked perfect all season. Also if your going to use the helmet strap be sure you tether it to something you wont loose, way harder finding one of these in powder than a ski. I always have this with me ready to go, the footage I got last winter was worth it's weight in Gold!

The North Face Tadpole 23 Bx Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 July 27, 2010

Purchased this tent in 05 and it has served me well. Very easy to setup, and packs down pretty small good for a Kayak. Perfect size for one person and gear, two people is cramped especially if you move around while you sleep. The rain fly has worked very in heavy down pours and high winds, keeping everything comfy and dry inside. Highly suggest you buy the footprint with this, well worth it.

Rating for this product: 5 July 27, 2010

You can't beat these lens on a clear sunny day Period! just be sure to use a proper lens cloth when wiping them especially the inner lens as the tend to scratch easy.
On a cloudy overcast day I like the Persimmon lens, if you've got these two you pretty much have things covered.

Great Helmet

POC Receptor BUG Helmet

POC Receptor BUG Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 July 27, 2010

Good looking and very comfy, fit is a little on the small side but it's a pretty safe bet to go with your normal. I rarely use the liner and my mellon stays plenty warm, the ear pads also keep your ears plenty warm. The finish tends to get scratched up but better the helmet than your head right! Fits good with Oakley Crowbars. Only drawback I can think of is it sounds like your in an airplane when your going fast due to wind noise in the vents.

Werner Ikelos 2-Piece Paddle - Carbon Blades/Bent Shaft

Rating for this product: 5 July 27, 2010

I used this paddle on a three week trip on Lake Powell, the weight of these along with the foam core blade made my days very easy when paddling at a medium pace. These really shine when you want to pick up the pace, great for getting in a daily work out. The adjustability is great for getting things just right especially on windy days.

I had the 07/08 version of these, they we're really fun in fresh new snow but didn't do it for me in all the rest. Biggest dislike was in tracked out powder and crud, guess they we're a bit to soft for me. On a plus side they we're insanely light good for a touring setup.

Oakley Ultimate Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 July 27, 2010

I've been using this jacket for three winter's, it's been nearly perfect. My only complaint is the side vent's on the jacket let in a cold breeze when going down hill (only a problem when skiing due to there position) The material cleans nicely , I have the Nickel Cell O (white) and it is still very bright and clean after three years. Be aware it fit's a bit large, I'm 6'1 200 and bought a XL probably should have got a Large

I've wore these glove's a couple of times including a rainy/wet day in Tahoe and 15 degre day and they ket my hands warm and dry in both conditions. Highly suggest using the Hestra leather balm, be aware that this will darken the color of the bronco/natural gloves. I kinda think they look a little better though. And yes they are very comfortable.
