The North Face Chilkats Winter Boot - Men's

I bought these boots for alaska, thinking they would be perfect, dont get me wrong theyre pretty good boots, until about 0 degrees. Thats when the cut out. There isnt enough insulation in the boot to keep your feet warm, and they werent really good for what I was doing. If your going to be out in negative degree weather, I'd make another choice, go with something more thoroughly insulated.

The North Face Himalayan Parka - Men's

I bought this jacket because I was going to Alaska to train sled dogs. I put it on in -35 degree weather and within minutes I was ON FIRE.. I had to unzip it halfway and vent. The jacket will not fail at keeping you warm, I just wish there was some way of regulating its warmth.. like the armpit vents on some of the other jackets.
