Killer resort ski. Got 184's mounted at +2 with Griffons, and this thing cranks through hard pack and boiler plate out here on the East. Skis well in the woods, and is relatively easy to turn in tight trees and bumps. Definitely prefers wide open packed trails, though. Killer ski to add to the quiver for days when the big sticks are too much, or you're just looking to have a true all mountain ski.

Bought two of these last summer, riding dirt, mud, and even a bit of ice and snow here in New England. Running this as a rear. Size, 2.3 is accurate compared to WTB and Maxxis Minion DHF. The tire sheds mud like a monkey flings poo, and rolls very well. Traction is terrific, and it is a rather stiff tire. Great on the hard pack and a long wear tread. The newer models are comparable.

Not gonna knock a star, but a deeper tread would be nice.

This light is friggin' bright! hang it from the tail gate on the 4Runner, put it on the bench at the camp site, slip it in the light pocket in your Nemo Losi 3 tent, take it backbacking. Stands on its own, or has a genius mech. for hanging it. This little light is amazing. Not only does it produce a bright light, it also produces a strong, steady, and consistent glow. You can light up a picnic table at the campsite to see what you're eating, not so much what you're cooking, but that's why you'd buy the next biggest one.
This small, bright light slips in your pack and is most excellent for backpacking, especially when a bright light around your cooking/tent area is needed. It's also great for reading in the tent with the opposable metal rings that let you hang it from the gear loft area.

Have a ProTec multi-impact and this guy. Was concerned, like Mitch G, about the no ratings. However, I did a bunch of research about the ratings - which are antiquated, and were developed in 1970's & 80's - and then I contacted Bern, and talked with them regarding the Hard Hat and the concept behind it. It is made from Brock foam - same stuff in NFL and NHL helmets and pads - and is designed to take multiple impacts and not split like a traditional helmet.
I ski primarily backcountry in CO and WA, race, and throw in a little park time for color, with 50+ days in the hard hat, and have confidently made the switch. I'll even be taking out the knit liner and using it for mtn biking this spring.
This is a very light-weight, sturdy, warm, well vented, and comfortable helmet.
