Salomon Lady Ski - Women's

November 29, 2011

it has a raised tail, so will ski slightly shorter than it is...

169 if she's mainly going to be skiing fairly open terrain, 161 if she wants to play in the trees.

Oakley Splice Goggle

November 28, 2010

Neither goggle is "better"- the splice is slightly wider and was designed to reduce the nose pressure that some people feel from the crowbars. Personally, I prefer the crowbar fit. Your best bet is to find a shop that stocks both and try them on, everyone's head/ face is different.

Eider Cetus Jacket - Men's

Eider Cetus Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 23, 2010

This jacket is top notch. The blue is slightly darker than it looks in the pictures above, but it looks good. Also, not in the description- there is a goggle wipe in the inner pocket on a lanyard, and there is a flap on the top part of the zipper to protect your face from the zipper. Nice little touches.. I'm 5'10, 175 and the large fits me well. I've had this jacket for a couple months now and it holds up to abuse very well. No scuffs/ tears to be found anywhere.

Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boot - Men's

March 20, 2010

depends on how long your foot is. The last of the mondo 25 is 98 mm. Mondo 26 will be slightly wider, 27 even more so and so on and so on. That being said, this is a fairly narrow boot and 106 is a fairly wide foot, but bootfitters can work magic on boot shells. If you really want a Full Tilt, I'm sure a good bootfitter can stretch the shell to fit your foot.

Full Tilt First Chair Ski Boot - Men's

Full Tilt First Chair Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 20, 2010

when I first got these boots I started questioning my purchase- none of the shops in my area stock Full Tilts, so I had to buy them sight unseen, and boy were they TIGHT! I pulled the liners, stuck my foot in the empty shell and verified that I had enough room, then followed an online guide (thanks Teton) to baking the intuition liners. This was my first time using heat moldable liners, and let me tell you everything they say is true- the difference is amazing! These boots went from being super tight- unwearable after more than 10 mins to the most comfy boots I've ever worn- yet still have good performance. The buckles take a little while to get used to, but once you're familiar with them they're quicker to adjust than the regular kind. And the weight! They are so much lighter than my old boots..

Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro I.D. Ski Boot

February 18, 2010

neither boot is "better"- they're completely different. The surge is an overlap design, the Kryp is a three piece. The Surge has a 101 last, the Kryp- 98. Both are high performance boots, you should find a shop near you that stocks them so you can try them on before you buy.
