Sweet Glove

DAKINE Impreza Glove - Men's

DAKINE Impreza Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 1 day ago

I wore these babies up at Crystal Mt (WA) last weekend during a pretty cold windy day, (~20 deg F). My hands stayed warm for most of the day, but near the end of the day they started to get a little cold. The gloves have a leather palm and once that got saturated there was definitely more heat loss/transfer through that area. The wet leather palm also wanted to stick to the metal on the chair lift and when I'd pull away it would leave a little of the leather behind. That minor issue aside, even with the palms being wet my hands stayed super dry for the whole day and given the amount insulation the glove has surprisingly warm. I'd say these gloves are best suited for days when its 25 deg F or warmer and they'll definitely be killer in the spring time. Overall a great purchase, I'm happy I bought them.

Great pants w/ great details

Sessions Achilles Pant - Men's

Sessions Achilles Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 20, 2009

I bought these pants looking for a pair of spring boarding pants. With a base layer they are way warmer than I thought they'd be. The 5000/8000 waterproofing/Breathability isn't goretex but does a surprisingly great job of keeping me warm and dry during on Washington's heavy wet snow days. The large had the baggy fit (not too baggy) and length I was looking for for my (5'11'' tall, 33" waist) frame. Overall, I'd recommend these pants to anyone.

Badass Jacket

The North Face Cipher Windstopper Jacket - Men's

The North Face Cipher Windstopper Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 9, 2008

I"m 6'2" tall and weigh about 210 w/ an athletic build and the XL Jacket fits like it was tailored fo me. Some areas of the jacket are thinner than I'd like for a windstopper, but for the Seattle area this jacket is perfect.
