Does anyone have a medium in one of these? Are they large enough to do the job comfortably?

Icebreaker BodyFit200 Legless Pant - Men's

July 1, 2009

I know these are great for skiing, but how about just as a hiking/backpacking baselayer? Cold ankles can mean cold feet. Any advice on this? I like that these are cheaper, lighter, and take up less room than the full legging, but I don't want to detract from the warmth.
