Red Reya Helmet - Women's

October 6, 2009

I am not 100% on this helmet, but on most helmets the rubber strap just hooks on the top. It is usually just barely stretchy enough to hook on.

K2 Cinch Vette Snowboard Binding - Women's

December 2, 2008

You can do it yourself, 4 bolts for each binding, just keep adjusting till you are comfortable with the stance. Most plates have the set-up for both Burton set-up and standard set-up.

Thule Insta-Gator Truck Mount

November 25, 2008

The quick release drops the wheel down, with the lock on, the wheel has no room to drop down. Also looking at the image it appears the release latch is covered instead.

Thule Hull-a-port Kayak Carrier

After some googling, it looks like you could fit 2 up there since they sit at an angle.

Perception Search Series Kayaks

November 20, 2008

At 6'2", a 15' like this should be fine for him. I am just a little taller than him and use a 9'6" kayak, however it is a sit-in not a sit-on-top.

Oakley Stockholm Goggle

November 17, 2008

They will fit, but I would get some of those clear sheets to peel off the lens after each ride so the lenses do not get all scratched up from dust/rocks/wiping. Also these have kind of a large vent on them which you may not want while mx due to dust getting in.

Smith Hustle Skullcandy Audio Helmet

Crap, sorry Barrett I erased your answer...please repost. If your phone has a jack for a single bud headphone (wired handsfree device), you could get an adapter to a 3.5mm jack so you can use your phone as your music source.

Perfect mid-race snackage!

GU Energy Gel - 24 Pack

GU Energy Gel - 24 Pack

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2008

Bought these for my kayaker to hang on to for me while doing my 10 mile ocean swim. Worked perfectly, I went with the vanilla, the consistency took a little to get used to and they are really sweet tasting, but other than that they were good, gave me the energy I needed.

Only drank maybe 3/4 of a Nalgene bottle full of this stuff for a 10 mile ocean swim and it kept me completely hydrated. I highly recommend it.

Echowell Echo V-3 Cycling Computer

Rating for this product: 5 September 16, 2008

Bought this through one of backcountry.com's other sites and it was perfect for my mountain bike! Weather resistant, easy to set up, easy to read. Could not be more pleased with my first cyclometer. Comes with extra zip ties thankfully since I misplaced the mount the first time.

Oh the comfort!

Oakley Compression Short - Men's

Oakley Compression Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 September 8, 2008

My first pair of bike shorts as well. After doing multiple hour rides in just some gym shorts I figured I would give something with a chamois a go and wow these have made my rides so much more comfortable. I just wish that the pockets were either not as open or that there was a stash pocket of some sort as keeping anything in the front pockets while riding is just another way of getting rid of whatever is in them after a few bumps.
