Super Light- great value
Voile Mini Shovel
March 25, 2005
This is a badass shovel- It is super light and compact- yet can move snow like the bigger voile shovels. The shovel head is tough enough to take on any type of snow!! Great Buy!!! recommend to anyone who wants to shed the lbs for a shovel. I would prefer to have a "D" shaped handle so that I can grip it better with mittens or gloves... other than that.. great buy!!!

The North Face Venture Side Zip Pant - Men's
March 13, 2005
Best, lightest pants I've ever used. They are super packable and virtually weightless, yet keep me completely dry when I go snowboarding/mountaineering. Great value!!!

Patagonia Capilene Silkweight Hiking Crew Liner Socks
January 20, 2005
These socks are very thin and light! They add another small layer to reduce friction on my feet. It's nice to be able to fit my regular boot size with 2 socks- a liner and a thick wool sock.. VERY NICE- recommended for anyone who wants to reduce friction!

what to do with an old snowboard
Voile Split Decision Kit
March 8, 2004
This split kit is the best thing I have purchased yet this season. I tried to perfect my skiing but there is nothing like carving pow on a snowboard. I think the voile split kit is a good idea/alternative for snowboarders who dream of doing any backcountry touring on their decks. A MUST BUY IF YOU WANT TO SNOWBOARD THE BACKCOUNTRY- GET RID OF THE SNOWSHOES.

Atomic TC-9 with Silveretta 500
Atomic TC 9 Light Alpine Touring and Telemark Ski
November 9, 2003
I tried out the TC-9's this weekend with the silveretta 500 bindings and they worked great. I used my Koflax mountaineering boots and they still had a pretty sharp response. The best thing about this set-up is the weight- these skis are incredibly light and very easy to strap to a back.
