Black Diamond O1 Telemark Ski Binding DO NO TUSE

Rating for this product: 5 April 6, 2009

i know i'll buy several pairs of ski's over the next few years as I progress in the sport, but this will probably be the only binding i put on them

solid in the backcountry, tour like a champ, hang with the best of them, yes, have noticed them loosening as i climb, but hey, i'm a strong dude and i climb hard, so just tighten up before you start making turns down

Black Diamond Verdict Ski

March 16, 2009

My wife is looking for a phat pair of ski's to throw some BD O1's onto, it will primarily be used in the backcountry specifically we live in alaska (the chugach is in my backyard)? Not to be a male shovanist but would this be a good ski, I've never seen a women ride them before, not to say they can't, I just havent... I guess my main concern is they would be too heavey to slogg the uptrack with

MSR Trillium Stove Base

MSR Trillium Stove Base

Rating for this product: 4 July 10, 2008

I've had my trillium stove base to go with my MSR for about 6 years now, and it finally has begun to fail on me, I dont know if its from water, snow, glacial dust, clay or some other crud, but i've tried some lubricants and it still seizes up taking too much force to pull apart, so alas, i'm ordering another one, and don't feel bad about it because these things are great, if you every use your whisperlite on unstable ground or any kind of snow/ice get one, it will pay dividends

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

July 9, 2008

Dude, I'm asking myself the same question, so I tried on a L and XL at a local store, the L fits well in the body, but a tad short in the sleeves when you raise your arms over your head, the XL fits a tad baggy in the body, but good in the arms, I tried both on over a 300 weight fleece jacket, hope that helps, but alas, I still haven't decided on a size myself... I'm about 6'4" and 180-185

Arc'teryx Theta AR Jacket - Men's - DO NOT USE

May 3, 2008

will, i'm 6'3", 185lbs, and i wear a Large, that way you can layer a 200 weight fleece underneath, the only issue is sleeve length, i have long arms, so the Large runs a little short, cause the XL is way too big, but with longer glooves, not really an issue
