Salomon XT Wings WP Shoe - Men's

December 21, 2008

Salmon makes a great winter shoe called the Speedcross, you might want to check those out. The GTX's will probably keep your feet dry and anything that is waterproof is going to breath a little less than something that isn't so your feet will retain more heat.

Great shoes

Five Ten Piton Climbing Shoe

Five Ten Piton Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 4 September 30, 2008

After 2 other pairs of piton's I finally have a pair that works. The first pair, the tongue fell off after 5 sessions in the gym. The second pair I downsized and they were actually biggger. The last pair I just received and they seem to be great. I haven't had the chance to wear these outside but for gym climbing they are comfy and stick well.

Great Gloves

Black Diamond GTX System Shell Glove

Black Diamond GTX System Shell Glove

Rating for this product: 4 April 4, 2008

These are extremely comfortable, waterproof and keep you warm in just about ANY condition. I love the easy pull cord to tighten the skirt and that you can layer some base gloves under them to handle really nasty weather. I give these 4 stars just because you can't remove the insides for faster drying.

They do the job

Mountain Hardwear Kahiltna Glove - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Kahiltna Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 10, 2008

Bought these gloves to use as a base layer and so far they work great. They don't offer a lot of warmth but they keep the wind from freezing your hands, I also tend to be warmer than most people. They pack to the size of about a deck of cards and weight almost nothing.
