I bought this for a whitewater rafting adventure and it was amazingly cool on the head due its side vents.It only fell off when the raft hit an 8 rapid.But the strap kept it from blowing away.I have a small female head and it was a perfect fit and kept me from getting a sunburn on my scalp.
