Excellent Flips

Chaco Flip Sandal - Women's

Chaco Flip Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 3, 2009

I'm a Chaco fan anyway, but wanted something quick to put on me feet to run outside and play with the dog or do yardwork, but that would stand up to months, possibly even years, of wear. I believe the flips are it. I've had them only a month, but now they're the first pair of shoes I reach for no matter what I'm doing. Great fit (true to size), seem durable, and I never got an uncomfortable hot spot from the strap that most flip flops give me. Solid.

Good Stiff Soled Trail Shoes

Vasque Mercury XCR Trail Running Shoes - Women's

Vasque Mercury XCR Trail Running Shoes - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 August 3, 2009

I a a size 7 in all shoes and these are no exception.I run about 20 miles a week, half of them trail and find these shoes to be excellent performers. Stiff enough to take some hard hits from roots and rocks, but not like running with two by fours strapped to my feet. The moderate lift of the heel (slightly more pronounced than road shoes) seems to give an advantage for up and downhills; a feature I really like. They were comfortable out of the box the first day on the trail, but have become even more so after a few runs. So far have, they about 30 miles on them and they're not looking much worse for the wear. I've always liked Vasque and these live up to the standards I've come to expect from the company.

Excellent all around aerobic pants

The North Face WindStopper Hybrid Tight - Women's

The North Face WindStopper Hybrid Tight - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 21, 2009

If I could only own one pair of pants in my life, it would be these. Super comfy, great for relaxing, running errands, cycling in rain or wind, running on chilly mornings, hiking and hanging out at the campfire. Can't find any reason not to love these pants. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs. Got the medium so they could fit over my bike shorts, and they are plenty big. If I just wanted to run in them, I'd have gotten a small. They are long in the leg.

Excellent for chilly rides

Pearl Izumi Amfib Glove - Women's

Pearl Izumi Amfib Glove - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 April 1, 2009

I live in Oregon and there's almost always rain and a chill in the air in winter. These gloves create an excellent barrier against both. They're bulky, but don't seem to get in the way of reaching for brakes or shifters at all. The soft back-of-the-thumb material is that extra added bonus that saves your nose from getting too raw from constantly having to swipe away drips. Nice job PI.
