Not really square, but not round

Granite Gear BlocSolid Compression Sack

Granite Gear BlocSolid Compression Sack

Medium compacts 3 days of clothes to nothing. Although the final shape is not perfectly square (or rectangular) I like it a lot better than the round sacks. Only the compression ends are squared, the sack part is round, maybe add some seams to make it squarish?? Definitely worth the money though. I am buying a large for my 15 degree synthetic bag because the medium was alittle too much hassle for stuffing.

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Jacket - Men's

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Jacket - Men's

Warm, light and comfortable. Packs small and relofts quickly. Good jackt for end of the day lounging in the summer and all day use in fall, winter and spring. I only worry about the durablity of the fabric when its worn as an outer layer. It hasn't yet, but seems like it might rip easily, although knock on wood, after a month working in the field it is still holding up.

Good Pantaloones

Columbia Omni-Dry Silver Ridge II Convertible Pant - Men's

Columbia Omni-Dry Silver Ridge II Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 17, 2009

Love em. Light weight, easy on/off of legs even with logging style boots on (yeah I wear heavy duty work boots for backpacking) I am a 32W and 30inseam and the M/30 fits well. The legs are just a tad long and drag when I am wearing sandals but easily fixed with a little hemming. Another poster said the zipper tags for Left and Right should be attached to the legs not the shorts and I agree... when I am wearing the shorts I know which leg is my left one, but not which pant leg goes on it. Overall great pants though and I am buying another pair when my size is in.
