• Ingrid Backstrom's Sierra Day Tour, Unsettled Weather

  Heading out above Lake Tahoe for a few pow laps--the goal is to be lightweight but prepared for anything. I know I am going to sweat because I'm trying to keep the fast people at least in sight (yeah, right!), but then I want to be warm when hanging out having a snack & enjoying the view and for the ski back down.

  When you want to be able to sit on the lifts all day and stay warm and dry because, first of all, no one's out there except you and your friends, and secondly, your tracks are filling in every run!!!!
