Good shorts, but chafe on long distances

I have 2 pairs of CWX shorts, and my GF also swears by them. The large surface areas have a breathable fabric and the "bands" provide support. My only gripe is that the center seam line does not lay completely flat and chafes on long distances. I have not had problems on 10K runs, but experienced some chafing on my half marathon.
Otherwise I would have given 4-stars.
