Stoic Merino Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 5, 2009

I'm 6'4" and 210 lbs. I got the XXL in black and red and love them both. I up sized a bit from the chart intentionally and the shirts fit long enough for my 6'6" wingspan and are a perfect athletic fit. The XL would have fit as well, I'm sure, but would have been skin tight and I was looking for a shirt that I could wear and not look like a complete meathead.

Smith Interlock Prophet Sunglasses - Polarized

Smith Interlock Prophet Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 August 17, 2009

My Smith Methods fell into the Hawaiian surf (My fault). My Interlock 01 convinced me on the interlock system. The Prophets are the shape of the Method and the interchangability of the O1. If I was any happier I could sell all of my other sunglasses... I'm also a fan of Oakley and MJ and these keep up or exceed them in any category with SAC giving me a much better price.

Hard to Spill

CamelBak Podium Water Bottle - 24oz

CamelBak Podium Water Bottle - 24oz

Rating for this product: 4 August 9, 2009

The valve and ability to close come in pretty handy because when I'm not out on a bike with this, my kids carry it around the house without spilling it all over the floor.

I don't find the sqeeze that hard, but I do love the ability to close the valve.

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Sunglasses - Polarized

August 9, 2009

The Flak XLJ are just shaped a bit differently than the half jacket. They flare a bit more to the side after it exits the bottom of the frame.

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Sunglasses

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 July 31, 2009

I have now had the pleasure of playing golf in polarized and non polarized oakley lenses and in a couple of other company's as well (Smith, MJ). I actually find that finding the ball in the sky or on the green is easier in non-polarized lenses. The glare that comes off of the ball is the thing you see when looking from a long ways away. My current golfing sunglasses are Flak Jackets with the G30 lens (non polarized) which I love. When going to the lake, I still use the polarized.

Nikwax TX-Direct Spray-On

Rating for this product: 5 April 23, 2009

After 8 years of not replenishing the waterproofing on my Solstice, I had pretty low expectations. A wash, a good coat of Nikwax and I am sealed again.

Backcountry.com Merino Zip Tee - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Backcountry.com Merino Zip Tee - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 10, 2009

I'll admit, I'm not average in proportion, but XL fits my 6'4" frame and gives me room in the sleeves and the torso. Fits close like it should. I'm only 205 lbs however so you don't want to carry much extra weight around to slide into this shirt.

Oakley Eyepatch Sunglasses - Polarized

Oakley Eyepatch Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 4 March 27, 2009

Having owned Smith's Super Method shades until I was relieved of them by a KC parking valet, I like sunglasses with coverage. That being said, these allow no light in the sides have Oakley's usual excellent optical quality and fit my face very well. I would recommend them for anyone who wants maximal coverage, one of Oakley's best ventures into the large, non blade, sunglasses.

Backcountry.com Siphon Street Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men’s

Backcountry.com Siphon Street Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men’s

Rating for this product: 4 November 26, 2008

At 6'4" and 210 lbs I have a little trouble worrying about thumb loops on a sweatshirt. Up until now, I've never had sleeves get close to my thumbs. Needless to say I was thrilled to find my XXL hoodie had no trouble getting to the ends of my arms. I'll admit, I've got a little extra room in the torso, and SAC made the price better, but I love this sweatshirt.
