Five Ten Anasazi Verde Lace-up Climbing Shoe - Men's

Five Ten Anasazi Verde Lace-up Climbing Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 12, 2007

Great all around performance shoes. I've used these on everything from overhanging cobble pulls to slick slab desperates and have been very impressed with the stick, power, and precision. The new heel is light-years better than the old, and I was stoked that i could finally fit into some anasazi's. My only real gripe is that they get super hot, but that is to be expected with a lined synthetic shoe.

Pretty Good

Black Diamond Momentum AL Climbing Harness

Black Diamond Momentum AL Climbing Harness

Rating for this product: 3 November 12, 2007

I picked this harness up based strictly on price, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and comfort it offers. I have two issues with it however, one is that the gear loops are a bit on the small side, so if you climb long routes and like to rack on your harness, it gets pretty crowded. The second being that the little webbing strip that tightens up the rope guide ALWAYS slips and loosens. I'm picky though. Great beginner or second harness.

Black Diamond Quicksilver Quickdraw

I grabbed a bunch of these for clip-ups and pretty much love them. You can't really beat the price. BD makes sick gear that does the job well and lasts.

Mountain Hardwear Alchemy Softshell Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Alchemy Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 12, 2007

I snatched up one of these jackets when it first came out years ago. I wear it everywhere, for everything from skiing to climbing to winter bike commutes, and it still looks and performs as well as it did the day I bought it.

Mountain Hardwear Transition Zip T - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Transition Zip T - Men's

Its amazing how warm and comfortable this thing keeps you. This thing is all I need to stay warm while climbing on sunny December days or backpacking on damp and chilly spring days. I even sleep in it if I'm winter camping. Great shirt, super versatile.
