The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's

November 1, 2008

There's no fleece on the outside of this jacket- even in the two tone colors. My fiance' tried it on in Cardinal red the other day.

Great Sandals to complement a great shirt!

The North Face Ex-Boyfriend Sandal - Women's

The North Face Ex-Boyfriend Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 23, 2008

These sandals are well built though thin. I normally wear a 9 wide and these fit beautifully in a size 9. They are designed to perfectly complement the Ex-Boyfriend button up shirts from TNF. I found the arch support to be a nice touch although I see some users complained about it. The metal name plate looks nice and these go great with jeans or shorts- since the shirt is 3/4 sleeve you can wear this combo in spring, summer, and well into fall. You won't be disappointed with these flip flops!

Not a Casual Jacket

The North Face Momentum Jacket - Women's

The North Face Momentum Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 October 23, 2008

This is a great track jacket but not a good option for casual wearers. Some of the features that benefit runners (such as being shorter in the front and long in the back) don't work well for a night on the town. This jacket is a thin, humid variety and probably works best for windy days when it isn't raining (since there's no hood). IF you're looking for something light and versatile and water resistance isn't a big deal to you, I'd recommend a light fleece such as the Salathe instead. This jacket hasn't received much wear at my house, but would be ideal for a jogger.

Great pack, nice size!

The North Face Isabella Backpack - Women's - 1200cu in

The North Face Isabella Backpack - Women's - 1200cu in

Rating for this product: 5 October 23, 2008

I bought this in white and red on sale last year and LOVE IT. It's my go-to hiking pack and it is large enough to carry everything you need for a weekend trip as long as you pack lightly. The organizer pockets inside are a VERY nice addition and while there isn't a padded pocket for a laptop, there is a net pocket across the entire front-interior of the pack for holding items of different sizes snugly into place. I usually keep my insect repellant in that area. The front zip pocket, while small, will hold a small first aid kit and thats just what I use it for. The middle zipper (between the main compartment and small front zipper) is also compartmentalized and has a place for keys, change, etc. While somewhat smaller than the male packs (ie: heckler), this will carry everything you need and look cute doing it!

The North Face Prophecy Multi-Purpose Shoe - Women's

The North Face Prophecy Multi-Purpose Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 22, 2008

These are a great multi-purpose shoes- great for those days when you go out into the woods with no idea what you'll end up getting into. I have these in the blue and they're a very attractive shoe- well built and seem to be holding up well. These are a bit bulkier than some of the hiking shoes and are built tough. I normally wear a 9W but a 9 has more than enough room for me in this shoe. Kudos on the Vibram ... Nice touch! :) I'm very pleased with these shoes overall but these are probably a bit much for everyday wear.... I'd recommend the Radial (which I have in seahorse green to match my Denali) for casual everyday wear.

LOVE THESE SHIRTS!!

The North Face A5 Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

The North Face A5 Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 22, 2008

I have this in Vintage White and black, and I LOVE it. I have worn the black shirt with everything from jeans with heels to pajama pants around the house... It's that comfortable and definitely great for layering if you like that look. This goes great under the ex-boyfriend shirts with the sleeves scrunched up to just below the length of the 3/4 sleeves. These shirts wash up nicely and are a great casual piece. :)

Sweet Pants!! :)

The North Face Libra Cargo Pant - Women's

The North Face Libra Cargo Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 April 22, 2008

These pants are very cute and have nice utility pockets to hold your gear. They are a great fit (maybe a tad shorter than I usually buy), and the only gripe I have with these is that they come out of the dryer very wrinkled and are difficult to iron out. Overall I like these pants very much... they just aren't the grab it out of the dryer and go- type of pants. These would be really cute on the beach rolled up..... They're so versatile!! I bought a 12 in the dune beige and thought the color and fit were both very nice. :)

Great for an undershirt or outdoors

The North Face Veloci T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Women's

The North Face Veloci T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 April 22, 2008

This makes a great undershirt or would be good for outdoor activities in hot weather. I bought a size up and am glad I did, I imagine the L would have been a bit short- TNF's athletic gear is usually not as long as the casual line so I acted on that notion. I'd buy a size up if you're taller than average.

LOVE IT!!

The North Face Best Friend Shirt - Short Sleeve - Women's

The North Face Best Friend Shirt - Short Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 22, 2008

There are NO better button-ups than those from TNF. I LOVE this shirt. I usually wear a Large and find that a Large in TNF fits terrificly as expected. I also suggest checking out the Wildflower and the Ex-boyfriend shirts.... You can buy flip-flops to match the patters on your ex boyfriend shirt (also from TNF). I have this in Kelpie green and really like the color, as well. :)

Denali (Green)

The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Women's

The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 18, 2008

I bought this jacket in the green color and have loved it so far. It's actually sized a little larger than my metropolis parka I think- but fits well for casual days. I love the vibrant color it makes me feel energetic when I wear it. The darker green goes with EVERYTHING and I have the shoes and lots of other TNF in the same colors to coordinate so it's a valuable piece in my wardrobe.... Too bad it's almost summer now!! It'll have to hibernate till September (except for camping trips, etc... of course)> :)

LOVE IT!! It's so versatile!!

The North Face Metropolis Parka - Women's

The North Face Metropolis Parka - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 20, 2008

I have this parka and it's a lovely piece. I've worn it for about 5 months now and washed it yesterday for the first time. It still looks great! It makes a great raincoat because of the hood and is very warm but will not make you sweat or anything... It has a nice silky feel on the inside. It's a great length, is very flattering and goes with everything I wear, casual or dressy. This was a great investment and I would recommend the Metropolis Parka to anyone! I'm 5'9, 160 and have a Large that fits perfectly, by the way- in case anyone needs sizing help. :)

The North Face Metropolis Parka - Women's

March 19, 2008

YES... I just washed mine yesterday. You wash it seperately on a light cycle- and I done mine twice- the first time it is floating the entire time & the second time it actually washes. You can tumble dry on low as well. I read those instructions right off the inside lower tag yesterday. :)
