How does this fabric compare to the eVent fabric in terms of breathability? I'm looking for something with maximum breathability while remaining 100% waterproof for back country skiing in wet conditions.

How roomy is the helmet fit on this parka? I remember trying on a friend's medium a year or two (I'm 5' 11") and it fit well and was super warm. I didn't try fitting the hood over my XL Giro ski helmet and largeish noggin' though.

I'm looking to replace my mediocre down jacket with something that doesn't need a shell over it in very cold, snowy weather; and this might be the ticket.
