Good and bad.

Ground Batu EXT Tent 3-Person 3-Season

Ground Batu EXT Tent 3-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 4 August 23, 2009

The good:
Fantastic design--- tons of interior space. Nice venting. I would consider it more of a 4-season tent.

The bad:
The fly seems to be made of a cheaper material than my MSR Hubba Hubba. It does seem heavier than listed and is not very packable.

Sweetest binding ever made, so why would I recommend the Relay Pro?

Salomon Relay XLT Snowboard Binding

Salomon Relay XLT Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 December 12, 2008

These are the best bindings I have ever ridden (past experience includes Burton, Ride, other Salomon). They responsive, light, and comfy. REALLY COMFY. My knees used to hurts from old stiff bindings which give no lateral flex. Honestly, I would go for the Relay Pro though if money was at all a concern (I got my XLTs used).

ps. I spend my time on the steeps and in the trees.

Never Summer SL Rocker/Camber Snowboard

October 21, 2008

I hear the rockered boards float in the powder like no other and that you can really size down. What size SL-R will float as good as a 160cm tapered board (1.5cm taper)?

Salomon F22 Snowboard Boot - Men's

September 5, 2008

What are the best bindings for these if you are only really gonna be freeriding and spending time in the trees? I want some stiffer, more responsive bindings, but don't know what they'll fit into the best... Any suggestions?

Compact, light, comfy

Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad - Rectangular

Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad - Rectangular

Rating for this product: 5 August 4, 2008

Let me preface this by saying that I sleep terribly while camping. We're talking about 3hrs on an average night. This pad actually reduces pressure points enough that I can get about double my average hours of sleep on a given night.

It's light, it's compact, it's good.
