  • Bio:

Being right up close to nature's pure elements, especially here in the mountains, is what inspires me, motivates me and heals me - so I can go on happily doing my work as a physician. Gear is a tool to take me places and experience the outdoors in so many ways.

What a difference!

Dynafit TLT Vertical ST Alpine Touring Binding

Dynafit TLT Vertical ST Alpine Touring Binding

Rating for this product: 5 November 26, 2008

I went from Marker Dukes to Dynafit TLT Verticals for my alpine touring needs here in Revelstoke, BC (touring paradise!). The difference is phenomenal. I have a strong racing background and expect performance. The Verticals felt so feather light and natural in walking mode with the toe pivot point, and were really easy to get the hang of getting into and out of after a few tries. The heel piece turns easily for 3 levels of height adjustment for smooth climbing, and for clicking into ski mode. My turns felt solid. I'd recommend these to anyone looking for all-round touring bindings (unless you weigh 275 and want to huck big cliffs, then maybe check out the Dukes).
