    3 loves: skiing, hiking, camping.

I am at the mountain as much as possible. I also love to take my chocolate lab hiking in the hills of Washington park, and on other Columbia River Gorge trails.

fantastic jacket!

Bonfire Astro Down Jacket - Women's

Bonfire Astro Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 23, 2010

This jacket is perfect. The down is not too puffy and very flexible. The inside is a really soft flannel lining that is extremely cozy. The jacket has snaps around the powder skirt that snap into any pair of Bonfire snowboard pants to keep out the elements. The draw string cord that cinches the waist is hidden inside the two side pockets. The hood actually fits over my helmet! But, the best thing about this jacket is the front pocket. It has a hidden front pocket under the velcro closures that allows you to access the inside of your jacket without unzipping! Genius! Also, it has great waterproofing and I have yet to ride with a wet lining, which is saying a lot since I ride at Mt. Hood! As far as sizing, I'm 5' 5" tall and 120 lbs, and I ordered a size small jacket and it fits perfectly. The arms are nice and long so they stay over your gloves. Overall, great jacket and I would highly recommend it.

Great Neck Warmer

Oakley Neck Warmer

Oakley Neck Warmer

Rating for this product: 5 January 5, 2010

Great neck warmer! Outside layer is a soft, thick weave, while the inside lining is a super soft fleece. The inside is a brownish color. I've used it twice on the mountain and it kept me warm without getting all soggy. Love it!

sweet hat

Coal Revert Reversible Beanie

Coal Revert Reversible Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 January 5, 2010

This hat is sick. The colors are super bright, and it's a very thick weave while still being super comfortable. It's pom pom is removable, simply by untying it from the top. However, once it is untied two small grommeted holes remain in the top of the hat. I didn't notice much heat lost through theses holes.

questionable at first, but now I'm in love

Chaco Z/2 Unaweep Sandal - Women's

Chaco Z/2 Unaweep Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 12, 2009

When wore these sandals for the first few days, it was a constant battle between the toe loop and I. Also, I thought the sandals were a bit heavy. However, after about a week or two I had it all figured out. It just took a little time to get the right fit. Now, I am in love. I have chronic tendinitis in my right foot from an old overuse injury, and these sandals are so supportive that my pain has all but diminished. I will definitely be wearing them all summer long...which in Oregon only lasts three months, but who's counting!
