City Shorts

Mountain Hardwear Palisade Short - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Palisade Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 April 21, 2009

Great quality and they look great, but I found them to be a little tight. I have a 36" waist and they fit fine at the waist, but instead of feeling roomy and loose, they felt tight in the seat and crotch. I really do like the shorts and I will wear them around town, but I won't wear them to hike in (which is mostly why I bought them). I love Mountain Hardwear stuff, but to me these are city shorts, not Mountain shorts.

I'd Buy 'Em Again!

KEEN San Antonio Slip-On Shoe - Men's

KEEN San Antonio Slip-On Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 2, 2009

Great shoes - I've worn 'em every day since I got 'em. They feel roomy without feeling loose and I bought the size I normally buy. They're great for managing slippery driveways, but I really like how they look too. Worth every penny.

Happily Surprised

Backcountry.com Cocona Trail Sock - 3 Pair

Backcountry.com Cocona Trail Sock - 3 Pair

Rating for this product: 4 February 2, 2009

I was surprised by how thin these socks were when they arrived, so naturally I figured they wouldn't perform all that well on the trail. I was wrong. Not only did my feet feel cool and comfortable, my hiking shoes felt roomier inside - adding to my comfort. I now have several pairs of these socks and recommend to all.
