MontBell Super Stretch Burrow #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Synthetic

MontBell Super Stretch Burrow #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Synthetic

Rating for this product: 5 December 4, 2008

I have the 0 degree version of this bag. I spent a week in southern Utah canyoneering and backpacking-- this bag kept me super warm, when others were cold. My buddy was in the MH Lamina -15 below bag, and he seemed to be cold. I am 5' 10'' 165 and bought the regular- next time i will buy the long- a regular was tight- but still super comfy.

Bottom Line:
Its warm, feels great to the skin and has a nifty zipper that eliminates snags. The hugger feature is nice, stuffing this bad can be slippery, but it compresses down well with straps-- the extra weight is worth the warmth and comfort.

The North Face NSE Tent Bootie - Men's

The North Face NSE Tent Bootie - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 28, 2007

The inner sole of the bootie does not have any down, and it seems like the lining of the bootie has a small synthetic layer. It's one of those products that you wish was inside out. However when worn with fleece or wool socks these booties will keep your feet toasty. Bottom line: Put you feet in warm, they'll stay warm.

Exped ComfortFoam Mat

I spent a month using this pad while canyoneering in Southern Utah. I put it directly on the red rock and many other rough surfaces. Its tough, warm and extremely comfy. I had friends who had spent a lot more $ on their Thermarests, that envied my pad!! (they actually pack smaller than other pads too)
