I ordered this for a big 12 year old active boy in an extra large size knowing some sizes are smaller than the stated size. It was a bit bigger, but it was better than being too small. If I had to order it again, I would order it in the right size.
The jacket had the 'good looks' for my boy, yet provided the insulation I wanted. It has a durable shell that meets the level of activity it can be put through. The hood with the ruff adequately provides protection from windy freezing conditions.
