I recently bought these and have not hit any bad weather so I do not have feedback there. I bought a size 10 and they are just a tiny bit tight on me. I normally wear a L/XL and I would say that a 10 is about equivalent to a L in most of brands.

Does the Job

Sea To Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack

Sea To Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack

Rating for this product: 5 April 1, 2009

I have not dunked the bag but it did shed water on my last trip. It does compress very well but be sure to leave a few inches at the top so you can properly roll the top down. I found that to be my biggest issue before the bad is compressed. It is very easy to compress and will allow people to get ever smaller packs. One day, we will only need purses...

Good Gear

Oakley Wisdom Goggle

Oakley Wisdom Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 March 9, 2009

Worked well for snowshoeing in light snow and sub 20 degree windy conditions. They did not fog up at all in the 5 hours that I used them. They fit me well and were very comfortable. One note, not all the lens options are high intensity.

Wore these in 20 degree weather making an igloo and my hands were down right warm. They also proved to be very waterproof.

Using on a Dura Ace 10 sp drive train. It shifts perfectly but is heavier than the $$$ stuff.

Gotta Try It

Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad - Mummy

Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad - Mummy

Rating for this product: 5 July 29, 2008

Most comfortable air mattress I have ever used backpacking. I also own the non insulated version and recommend against that as I slept cold on it and I almost never sleep cold. The insulated version worked very well for me.

Worth the Weight

Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2 Ultra Light Tent: 2-Person 3-Season

Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2 Ultra Light Tent: 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 4 July 29, 2008

Used for 3 nights in Yosemite. Extremely light. Easy to set up. Lots of interior room.

The one downside is one of the poles hangs directly over both doors, making it a bit awkward to exit the tent.

Big Agnes Air Core Sleeping Pad - Mummy

Big Agnes Air Core Sleeping Pad - Mummy

Rating for this product: 3 March 4, 2008

It is light but I am not sure on the comfort yet. I need to play around with the air pressure. So far, I have only used it when very firm and it is too hard. The nice thing is I do not bottom out on the mattress when on my side. My hips hit the ground while on my side with my Thermarest but not the BA.

The Best

Mountain Hardwear WindStopper Tech Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear WindStopper Tech Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 1, 2006

I love this jacket! I tend to run warm so this stops the wind, yet is not so heavy that I get overly warm. I have an older bright colored one that has held up extremely well over the years, but wanted a new black one for city use.

Disappointed

Pacific Outdoor Equipment Deck Nav Dry Bag

Pacific Outdoor Equipment Deck Nav Dry Bag

Rating for this product: 1 August 9, 2006

Shoddy construction, the hook-and-loop closure was not properly sewn and quickly separated from the bag. Product returned and I will look elsewhere as the manufacturer was not helpful.
