K2 Mini Turbo Boa Snowboard Boot - Little Boys'

How do the sizing shims work, if my son is a 13C now is that what I buy with the expectation that it will grow up to a size 2.0 or do you start with a 2.0 and size it down to a 13C to begin with?

Smith Skullcandy Single Shot Snap Fit Audio Kit

November 10, 2009

Is this the same audio system that is included in the Variant Brim Skullcandy Audio helmet (SKU SMI0484)? The audio helmet is only offered in 1 color and 2 sizes, if ordering this with the standard Variant Brim is equivilant than one has a much larger color and size selection. Thanks.

Lib Technologies Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard

October 23, 2009

Yes, get a Skate Banana--you won't be disappointed. Charge it hard, she likes to be pushed and will eat anything you throw at her. The most fun board ever!

Lib Technologies Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard

October 23, 2009

I rode the original 159 Banana 2 years ago from park to big mountain, I'm 6'0" 185 lbs. size 9.5 with a basically flat stance--no worries. The Banana rips everything, most fun board I have ever ridden and rides like a Caddy. It can take whatever you throw at it, so the question is not if you will be OK with the board but will it be OK with you? This board deserves a rider who charges everything hard...

Lib Technologies Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard

October 23, 2009

Shoe size won't be an issue for any board, so you're good there. That low weight also will be accomodated nicely by any size board, I have riden 148's for park and I'm 6'0" and weigh 185, no problems.
A general rule of thumb is to have the board come up to your nose, but this can be tweaked depending on what you want to ride (shorter for park/jib, longer for POW/big mountain). If you are going to ride park/jib, I would go for the 148, for POW/big mountain/all around go for 152 or 156.

Good ride, disappointing quality

Ride Lowride Snowboard - Boys'

Ride Lowride Snowboard - Boys'

Rating for this product: 3 December 8, 2008

Got this for my 5 year old son and we got our first day out last weekend. Soft flex and centered stance helped him feel comfortable and edge effectively, but the board is cheaply made which is a disappointment for a reputable company like Ride. Topsheet began 'sliver shedding' right away (long thin strips coming off near the sidewall), and the nose delammed about 4" across and 2" deep. Granted he is a beginner and took a few spills, but certainly nothing to warrant this level of quality issue.
We'll take 'er up some more, but this is likely going to be returned before the warranty is out.

K2 Kat Snowboard Boot - Girls'

November 5, 2008

If these come with sizing shims and allow for 2 full sizes of growth, should one purchase the next size up to accommodate that growth or buy their current size and the removal of the shims will allow for the next size?
