extra light cover, stopped torrents of rain and never leaked anywhere. Got the x-large for my expedition pack and I can just about use it as a poncho too!

Nice Bag

MontBell Super Stretch Burrow #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Synthetic

MontBell Super Stretch Burrow #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Synthetic

Rating for this product: 5 October 20, 2008

Overall a really nice bag, but it doesn't compress very small and is a little heavy if you are doing a lot of miles. It get 5 stars from me because it is a 15 degree bag and I am always warm even when all of my friends, who are in 0 degree bags of other brands are all freezing their butts off. If it isn't too cold I like to sleep with my chest exposed and the tight fit of the bag keeps all of the warmth in. I highly recommend this bag to anyone who wants some extra "back-country comfort" that reminds you of home.

I just got back from a week long backpacking trip and this pack was great! I was a little worried about how heavy the bag is when empty, but all of my worries melted away when I was the only person who didn't have a sore back or shoulders after doing 20 miles one day. Great construction, I just wish there was another exterior pocket or two for nalgenes. Very comfortable bag, even when over packed.

Awesome Pad

Therm-a-Rest Therm-a-Rest ToughSkin Sleeping Pad

Therm-a-Rest Therm-a-Rest ToughSkin Sleeping Pad

Rating for this product: 5 October 19, 2008

Got this pad for a backpacking trip this past weekend on the Buffalo River, in Northeast AR. It was great and well worht the extra weight compared to my friends who had smaller trail pros. Extremely comfortable, after a long day of backpacking around 16 miles it was great to pull this out and relax around the fire during dinner. I highly recommend this pad, you won't be disappointed.
