Mountain Hardwear Kramer Softshell Jacket - Men's
November 16, 2008
For the most part, the inside looks like a typical shell. The upper arms are lined with "flat back monkey." This is similar to the material used for the MH MonkeyMan jacket, but not quite as thick. The shoulders and back are lined with an extremely thin fleece material. When wearing the jacket, you don't feel like you are wearing a lined jacket, it still feels light in weight and very movable, but you do notice the extra protection against the elements. Some other things about this jacket... The removable hood will definitely accomodate a helmet if you wear one. the colar is pretty high, comes up to my lips which is nice for wind protection. The removable powder skirt allows for a lot of use of this jacket off the slopes. There are a ton of pockets; 1 chest, 1 sleeve, 2 front, and 3 inside. I haven't used it skiing yet but so far the design seems great for skiing
