Suunto Core Altimeter Watch

Fantastic piece of kit. The Suunto Core is truly the most complete ABC (Altimeter/Barometer/Compass) watch to date. I bought the Light Green Core and have been very pleased. The watch gives extremely accurate readings and is easy to use and easy to read, plus it fits very comfortably on the wrist. The storm alarm and sunrise/sunset features are an added bonus too. Highly recommended!!!!

Suunto Core Altimeter Watch

Hey, Simon. The Core is suitable for all activities except diving. Yes, you can wear it while snowboarding and mountain biking. The reason the Orange/Black Core is more expensive than the Light Green Core is because it has metal lugs and a luminous insert on the bezel. Otherwise, it's the exact same watch as the Light Green one. Same overall construction and same features. Now, the advantage of having lugs is that you can buy any aftermarket strap and put it on the Core. Without lugs, you'd have to buy a replacement strap from Suunto if you ever need to change straps. I will agree that the $100 price difference is hard to justify, especially when it's basically the same watch, but that's Suunto's call, not the retailer's.

SUPERB WATCH!!

Nixon Scout Leather Watch - Men's

I absolutely love this watch! It's a very handsome and rugged watch that's easy to read, built like a tank and is extremely accurate. I went with the basic black version with the distressed leather band which feels very comfortable around the wrist and gets a lot of compliments from everyone that sees it. No matter if you get the basic Nixon Scout with the nylon webbing band or the classier looking Nixon Scout Leather, you won't be disappointed.

Simply awesome

Nixon Scout Watch - Men's

I bought the Nixon Scout as an everyday beater watch and it has come through with flying colors. I love it so much that I recently bought a Nixon Scout Leather for a less casual look. It's simple, rugged, good looking and extremely accurate. Incidentally, if you're a fan of Battlestar Galactica you'll find that Lee Adama (played by Jamie Bamber) wears a Nixon Scout in black on the show.
