Smith Serpico Sunglasses - Polarized Lens

October 4, 2009

The gold model costs more to manufacture than the silver so in order to sell at the same retail price no case is included.

XP - Great idea

Black Diamond ATC-XP

Black Diamond ATC-XP

Rating for this product: 5 August 18, 2009

I upgraded my old and worn ATC's to the BD ATC-XP. These ATC's are soo smooth. I use the friction side for self-repels and heavier climbers; I use the regular side for the average climber. The friction side gives me so much control. Used with a 10.2mm and a 9.4mm rope with no problems.

Great draw

Black Diamond HotWire Quickdraw

Black Diamond HotWire Quickdraw

Rating for this product: 5 August 18, 2009

I recently invested on my own gear rack. I wanted something super light, but strong enough to hold my super lead whipper. I have no regrets on getting these draws. The wire gates clip smooth and the keylocks make cleaning a breeze. The ONLY thing I have to criticize is the 10mm dogbone. I'm used to climbing with a much thicker dogbone and it's only a mental thing -- I have had no problems. Great draw~

Lace snapped...

Nitro Select TLS Snowboard Boot - Men's

Nitro Select TLS Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 August 18, 2009

I rode these boots for a season and was really pleased with the way they felt... until the lace snapped. The way the lace system is designed there's no way to just swap out a new lace in case of a break; you have to swap out the entire boot or ship it in to get it fixed. The boot itself was super comfortable. Ultra padding where you needed it, stiff - but not too stiff. This would be a five star boot if it had better lace system.

Nice Anchor

Metolius PAS Personal Anchor System w/ Element Locking Carabiner

Metolius PAS Personal Anchor System w/ Element Locking Carabiner

Rating for this product: 5 July 5, 2009

I feel super comfortable when hooked in with this chain. It easy to use and far better in my opinion than the classic daisy. The individual loops are each fall rated so you know that you're staying on the wall. The locking biner is a nice addition as well. Any serious climber should invest in one of these to keep on your harness.

Smith Serpico Sunglasses - Polarized Lens

Rating for this product: 4 October 2, 2008

Awesome shades. The lenses aren't quite as dark as I had hoped but hey, you can't complain, these glasses fit so comfy. Definately recommended. FYI: The gold model DOES NOT come with the hard case, only the silver ones do. Something they probably should put on the description...
