Mountain Khakis Teton Glass Buckle w/ Brown Belt

Rating for this product: 5 October 9, 2009

I am always getting compliments when I wear this belt. It is more versatile than I would of thought, and less fragile than I imagined. Definitely out of the ordinary, yet understated.

Mountain Khakis Teton Twill Pant - Women's

August 19, 2009

16 is the largest women's size, but they do tend to run a little big, particularly the Womens Cottonwood Cords, which have a splash of Lycra. Here is the MK womens fit chart

Mountain Khakis Alpine Utility Short - Men's

August 3, 2009

It is a good idea to go up a size if you are in between sizes for this short. It tends to run a touch smaller than similarly sized MK pants.

Great Bermuda style short!

Mountain Khakis Lake Lodge Twill Short - Women's

Mountain Khakis Lake Lodge Twill Short - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 July 27, 2009

Normally I hate shorts, but these are wonderful. The stretch keeps them comfy and the at-the-knee length makes them flattering with both flip flops & heels. I would go up a size if you are normally between sizes.

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Parka - Women's

May 19, 2009

I am a little taller (5'4") and a few pounds heavier than you and I wear a medium. If you want it to be a smidge loose- I would go for a medium. If you only want to wear it with a light layer, I would do a form fitting small. Montbell definitely runs small since they are Japanese. This is a fabulous jacket! Enjoy!

Mountain Khakis Teton Twill Pants - Men's

May 19, 2009

The outseam for the Teton Twill in a 34" inseam is 19.5" and for a 36" inseam it is 19 5/8"
The leg opening is graded with the sizes, so it depends on the exact size you are looking for. For a 30" waist 19" and for 42" waist, it is a 20 3/4" opening.

Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Denim Pant - Men's

May 19, 2009

If the 32x32 size was tight, you might try a 33x32. MK sizes are "true to size," meaning there is not extra wiggle room added to the waist. There is about a 1/2" added to the length to account for some shrinkage. The MK Original Mountain Jean has more of a classic jean fit, so it is not an identical fit to other men's MKs. The rise is an inch shorter and both the gusset and leg are less full. Still, you will likely fit into the same size in both styles.

Mountain Khakis Cottonwood Cord Pant - Men's

February 10, 2009

I would measure where you want your pants to sit on your hips. Mountain Khakis fit true to size, whereas many brands add 1/2-1" to feed your ego. If you measure a 36", I would order a 36." The cords also have lycra, so they may feel a little baggier than other MKs, but most people fit in the same size, whether buying cords or Original Mountain Pants. As for the length, there is a 1/2" built into the pant length since the fabric will shrink a little if put in the dryer. Enjoy!

Groovy Boots

KEEN Stockholm Winter Boot - Women's

KEEN Stockholm Winter Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 18, 2008

Got these for my birthday and they are great every day boots. Very comfy and I like the quirky looks. They are a little more roomy in the ankle than they should be, but they do fit true to size. I kind of wish they were a little taller so they would look cuter with skirts. Still, I am pleased with them.

Burton Supreme Snowboard Boot - Women's

Burton Supreme Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 3, 2008

These have been perfect right out of the box. Supportive, comfy, and responsive. Definitely worth it to treat your feet right. Have done well hiking out of bounds as well. My favorite feature is that my heel truly stays put, unlike in other boots.

Mountain Khakis Lake Lodge Short - Men's

Mountain Khakis Lake Lodge Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 30, 2008

I gave these to my husband and they are now his favorite casual shorts. The combo of the super light weight cotton, the splash of lycra, and the gusset make them super comfy, yet they are still truly nice enough for a dinner date. Tough like his other MKs too.

Great Trail Runners

Oboz Ignition Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Oboz Ignition Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 1, 2008

Ran great on the trail straight out of the box. As above, it is a bit snug to pull on, but then super comfy and no rocks come into the shoe. They are a great mix of rugged sole without being heavy or clunky. No pinching or rubbing as of yet running on the trails- so far so good. I would definitely recommend them.

KEEN Chamonix Winter Boot - Women's

KEEN Chamonix Winter Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 3, 2008

Warm and waterproof enough for how I use them, which definitely includes snow use. They are a little shorter than I imagined and I thought the velcro was a little strange at first, but I am very happy with them. In fact, I have worn them everyday since I got them. I have not had snow come in from the velcro as another person mentioned. Easy on and off and they look a lot more stylish than a lot of waterproof/ lined boots out there.

Mountain Khakis Cottonwood Cords - Women's

Mountain Khakis Cottonwood Cords - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 12, 2007

I love my MK cords. I have a pair that I dress up and a pair that I wear to the climbing gym. They are warm, stretchy, comfy, and still look great. They have a not too low rise. I didn't size mine down, but I can tell when it is time to wash them bc they stretch out a little. Check them out!
