They definitely shrink about 1/2" in length in "normal washing." If they shrink over an inch, Mountain Khakis will replace them.

16 is the largest women's size, but they do tend to run a little big, particularly the Womens Cottonwood Cords, which have a splash of Lycra. Here is the MK womens fit chart

Mountain Khakis Alpine Utility Short - Men's
August 3, 2009
It is a good idea to go up a size if you are in between sizes for this short. It tends to run a touch smaller than similarly sized MK pants.

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Insulated Parka - Women's

I am a little taller (5'4") and a few pounds heavier than you and I wear a medium. If you want it to be a smidge loose- I would go for a medium. If you only want to wear it with a light layer, I would do a form fitting small. Montbell definitely runs small since they are Japanese. This is a fabulous jacket! Enjoy!

Mountain Khakis Teton Twill Pants - Men's

The outseam for the Teton Twill in a 34" inseam is 19.5" and for a 36" inseam it is 19 5/8"
The leg opening is graded with the sizes, so it depends on the exact size you are looking for. For a 30" waist 19" and for 42" waist, it is a 20 3/4" opening.

Mountain Khakis Original Mountain Denim Pant - Men's

If the 32x32 size was tight, you might try a 33x32. MK sizes are "true to size," meaning there is not extra wiggle room added to the waist. There is about a 1/2" added to the length to account for some shrinkage. The MK Original Mountain Jean has more of a classic jean fit, so it is not an identical fit to other men's MKs. The rise is an inch shorter and both the gusset and leg are less full. Still, you will likely fit into the same size in both styles.

Mountain Khakis Cottonwood Cord Pant - Men's
February 10, 2009
I would measure where you want your pants to sit on your hips. Mountain Khakis fit true to size, whereas many brands add 1/2-1" to feed your ego. If you measure a 36", I would order a 36." The cords also have lycra, so they may feel a little baggier than other MKs, but most people fit in the same size, whether buying cords or Original Mountain Pants. As for the length, there is a 1/2" built into the pant length since the fabric will shrink a little if put in the dryer. Enjoy!
