I got this jacke for Christmas and have no complaints. The wrist gaiters are excellent and the magnets are uber convinient. I have stayed dry while using it, but i bet your Northwest snow is a bit wetter than the Champagne at Steamboat

I have used this jacket during epic dumps at Steamboat and stayed dry as could be. I don't imagine utah;s storms could be much better than that
