This is an amazing snowboard, truly Burton at it's finest. The details and finish quality can't be matched. If you like to go fast and rip turns, nothing can beat it, it's an amazing do-it-all freeride weapon.

Great design

Oakley Crowbar Goggle

Oakley Crowbar Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 November 12, 2008

At first I didn't like the look of the "wings" on each side of the goggles, but they've grown on me and the fit is excellent with a helment. The best part about these goggles is the excellent field of vision you get, much more than A-frames. If you ride at night, be sure to check out the HI-yellow lenses.

These are very nice goggles, Oakley always puts out good stuff. I like Crowbars better for a larger field of view.

These are nice sunglasses. I've had mine for about 8 months now, they do the job well and are lightweight. Polarized lenses are very nice.

Nice, but overpriced

Arc'teryx Matador Softshell Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Matador Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 June 2, 2008

I got my Matador towards the end of February. It's a really nice jacket- with laminated reinforcements on the elbows and other places, you can tell it's well designed. The fabric does stop the wind really well and it's nice to have insulation instead of layering so much. Overall, it's a nice, technical jacket. One disappointment I had was realizing it was made in China- I had always believed all Arc'teryx was made in Canada. However, the build quality is excellent, so maybe that isn't too important. However, the MSRP of $450 is far too high in my opinion. There is no way I would pay full retail for it.

This helment is worth the extra money over the cheaper RED models. It is very well made, comfortable and warm.

Very Nice

Arc'teryx Gamma LT Pant - Men's

Arc'teryx Gamma LT Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 25, 2008

I bought a pair of these for workouts in the cold and they're great. Although pricey, they are extremely well made and the material is one of the nicest, stretchiest soft shells I've felt.

Good but not great

Burton CO2 Snowboard Binding

Burton CO2 Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 3 January 23, 2008

I have these on my T6 and think they're nice, solid bindings. But they don't do anything amazingly well and are kind of just "there" when you ride. I had expected better comfort from the straps and lighter weight after what I read. Also, I don't understand the purpose of the B3 Gel under the heel when it has the consistency of soft bubblegum. For any significant impact, it's useless. When you're cruising around it maybe helps a little. They are good but not great.

AWESOME GLOVES

Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Glove

Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Glove

Rating for this product: 5 January 9, 2008

I snowboard in these and they are great gloves. They are incredibly unique and the look is about as cool as anything made. I have the brown color which looks amazing.

Also very functional. I have ridden in 15 degrees at Vail with no extra liner and was fine. Not super warm but still ok. They are extremely lightweight and soft as well. Be careful about touching edges with them though, as they are extremely soft and scar easily.

AWESOME GLOVES

Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Glove

Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Glove

Rating for this product: 5 January 9, 2008

I already reviewed these, but for some reason it didn't show up.

These gloves are awesome- extremely unique, killer styling and excellent function. They look like nothing else- almost like something a superhero would wear in a movie. Looking at how they are stitched together one can see all the care put into making them.

Functionally they are excellent as well. VERY lightweight, I was surprised. I've used them in 15 degree weather at Vail and was fine although I'm sure a liner would help.
