DAKINE Cobra Glove - Men's

DAKINE Cobra Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 5, 2008

Great for boarding but do not flex well for skiing. In other words they bend at the base of the knuckles but not at the rest of the finger joints very well. They are hella durable and kinda heavy because of it. Guaranteed to take a beating. If you board and like a pipe glove fit for kinda cold temps get them.

Great Bargain

Scott Triton Ski Poles

Scott Triton Ski Poles

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2008

I ski 3 - 5 times a week and I've bent and re-bent the hell out of these after some decent falls on these poles and they always bend back real nice. Great bargain for those of us who break poles like kids eat candy.

SmartWool Ultra Light Skiing Sock

SmartWool Ultra Light Skiing Sock

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2008

Hands down these are my kind of socks. Thinner than thin and wool. No stink after 3 days of skiing and great for those of us who like a super tight kinesthetic fit in the boot. Buy them.

The North Face TKA 100 Glacier 1/4 Zip Fleece Pullover - Men's

The North Face TKA 100 Glacier 1/4 Zip Fleece Pullover - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 4, 2008

Honestly I get kinda cold for I am a little on the too thin side and need to start eating some of that ole red meat and bulk up the bones but the college diet kinda eliminates that coveted steak meal (I'm 6'1 160) If I bought this again I would go for a heavy weight like the 200 fleece weight, Its nice quality and pretty snug (I got a medium). This would be ideal for spring skiing.

Awesome price and last forever and its hard to beat the slip on slip off factor I have wide feet though so there are not for use Fred Flintstone types. Unless you want to buy a bigger size to accommodate for the wider feet. Also great for long boarding!

How to size these

Hestra Polartec Power Dry Waffled Glove

Hestra Polartec Power Dry Waffled Glove

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2008

Sizing, they will keep you very warm but the sizing is tricky. They are kinda thick and I wear a 9 in the Vertical Freeride and the liner size I needed was a 10. Great though to help keep them fingers warm.

Snow Peak Titanium Cafe Press

Snow Peak Titanium Cafe Press

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2008

Made it 4 year into college with out this drug, I'm on the 7 year plan and now the work load desires artificial stimulation in order to complete it. This little bugger is hella durable and super simple and makes great coffee. I would strongly recommend it for its sturdiness and durability besides the fact the internal aspects are super strong in the quality aspect.

Stealth Powder Boats

Armada ARG Limited Series Alpine Ski

Armada ARG Limited Series Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 27, 2007

So I live here in the good ole powder capital a.k.a the SLC and there is nothing better than a good set of pow pow sticks for when its gets waist plus deep. Now I was kinda skeptical as to how well these would work...that was laid to rest yesterday as I continuously attempted to get my self stuck in waist deep fresh at the "bird"...I must say these sticks turn with the lightest of pressure in the powder no matter how deep it is and they can't really be submerged. Trust me I tried. They are kinda tricky at high speed on groomers and I might suggest mounting them a hair or two above the top factory mount of -5, so maybe like -3 or -4 not centered but definitely not less than -5 back. They will eliminate any issues in the powder Guaranteed!
