These flips are easy to slip on whenever, but provide sure footing anywhere and everywhere. I've wadded rivers, gone on inadvertanly long hikes and done some wet scree-scrambles in these bad-boys. they haven't left my feet for an upwards of 5 months now, and show no signs of slowing down. But alas, the threat of frostbite may forcibly remove them from my feet for a few months...

Patagonia Synchilla Marsupial Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Synchilla Marsupial Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 28, 2008

Burly enough for gathering firewood, warm and versatile enough for braving sideways blowing sleet, and soft enough to use as a pillow. It also looks great, unless it's covered in dog hair. (which it almost always is, because i'm not the only one who thinks it makes a nice pillow.)

Nice layering peice

Patagonia R1 Flash Fleece Pullover - Mens

Patagonia R1 Flash Fleece Pullover - Mens

Rating for this product: 3 August 28, 2008

This pullover, combined with a capaline base and burly shell creates an extremely warm, comfortable skiing getup. For winter runs, fall strolls or cold houses, it provides adequate warmth. It also looks really sharp with a button down shirt underneath. My only problems with it are its price and it's warmth. I bought mine on sale (for around thirty dollars.) It's a nice piece, but for 115$, you can get a lot more as far as warmth and packability goes. I wouldn't trust this pullover to keep me warm in harsh conditions, and have been caught shivering in it many times. But for layering and active pursuits, it is another quaility product from the fine people at patagucci.

The outer shell is pretty bomb-proof, and with the addition of a warm liner, you have a great mitten for skiing. However, the liners are not suited for even moderatly cold temps, and are put aside until the slushy season begins. (spring skiing)

Chaco Hipthong Sandal - Men's

Id say the flip. These shoes are pretty much a chaco flip thats been beefed up with a thicker sole and an extra pull through strap.
