Ex Officio Give-N-Go String Bikini - Women's

Ex Officio Give-N-Go String Bikini - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 August 25, 2009

I've gone on over 6 mi runs in these. Very light, decent wicking, dries super duper fast. Launders easily (done both machine and hand), very durable, breathes very well. The V string bikini cut would be very flattering but on this panty it is too long. I wear a S for my size 4 butt that is round and juts rather than being long and stretched-out. The material gathers at the crotch but it is so soft it is still very very comfortable. Just less flattering. I am 5'3" and would recommend it for taller girls / girls with longer pelvises. Grabbed a pair in the butterfly pattern and have had no problems with dirt.

injinji Performance Mini-Crew Toe Sock

injinji Performance Mini-Crew Toe Sock

Rating for this product: 4 August 25, 2009

I'm running >4x6 miles/wk and have these socks in rotation with Wright socks (very thin) and Nikes (very wicking). These are my favorite. Cons first: The fabric does not wick well, dries as quickly as a cotton sock, and is fairly thick for running. However, design seems much more important. These prevent blisters between my toes and aside from one small issue, have not allowed for any other problems. The only blister I have ever gotten was during a humid 13-mi, and on the outside edge of a toe, where the fabric rubbed against the inside of the shoe. Get sneakers with a wider toe box if you're going to run in these. Additionally, two of my toes tend to get squashed by other toes when I run and these keep them separate so that they don't get squashed. Now if they made these using Nike-type fabric, that would be amazing. I wear a size 9W and these in S is perfect.

Ex Officio Soytopia Seamless Thong - Women's

Ex Officio Soytopia Seamless Thong - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 7, 2008

Thongs are generally not the most pleasant business but these feel great - I've even slept in them (not really recommended). I climb rocks and run regularly and prefer thongs, thinking the fabric gets between your cheeks and can pick up the moisture to wick away. I've only otherwise tried one other athletic thong - the one from EMS - and that one is less stretchy and less comfortable (though may last longer). Wicks well. Colors are vibrant. I am size 4 and XS/S fits perfectly. Don't get them scrapped up though - holes expand easily. My first was shipped with a hole in it which backcountry graciously exchanged (hooray!) so check your product.
