I too, found my right boot leaked and a lot more than than the left. During a rare down pour here in southern NV., I was five miles from camp with hail and rain, by the time I got back, my right foot was pretty wet and the left boot was letting in some water. I ended up spraying the heck out of them with Nikwax. I have a pair of Vasque Breeze's that have never let water in.

Second, the boots don't breathe very well, kind of hot for desert hiking.

The Good News:
Break-in took no time at all, large toe box doesn't crush your toes. Excellent support and light weight.

I'll still use them, but not in the rain.

Okay, these are the first ice climbing axes I have owned and I just started to ice climb this past winter. (I own a BD Raven Pro for steep snow and mountaineering) I read the reviews and asked questions. I've only used the Quark's twice and they feel very comfortable. I like leashes on my ice axes so the leashes on these are plus for me. The Quark's seem to penetrate great without too much ice breakout. I hope to get to use them more next season.

I'm a believer in the use of a leash. Will fit just about every axe out there.

Keep your ice axe all BD. Spend the ten dollars and save a car seat.

I just started rock climbing. Instructor and others I climb with use this chalk, so how could I go wrong. First two climbs I didn't use chalk, now I use it all the time.

I replaced my daisy chain with the PAS, number one reason, safety!! You don't have to double up loops.

Bought this pack for hiking, but found out it works better for me as a small haul pack for climbing. I can fit a 50m & 60M rope in the main compartment and still have room for my BD harness. Other stuff gets put in the outsde pockets.

I used it once and decided to purchase the Metolius PAS for better safety, no need to double up loops in case of a fall. Will keep the BD as a spare.

As others have said, does what it supposed to do.

Like this MSR filter. I also have a SweetWater, but you have to assemble the handle every time you use it. The MSR filter has lasted me a long time. I filter clean running water with the MSR also, never know what was up stream.

Like the jacket, kept me warm at 20 degrees. At colder temps, you need to layer or a warm parka. I wish North Face put some kind of closure on the hood to stop in from coming out when not needed.

This loft is a lot better than the one I got with my Kelty Gunnison 4.1 tent

Waterproof! If you need to keep stuff dry and compressed, buy this bag.

MSR should have rolled the edges more, sliced a finger open when cleaning the pot. Nice set though.

Nice addition to car camping. Works great with Coleman Hot Water on Demand water heater.

Stove performed great. One night, light breeze, second night, 55 mph winds. With wind srceen and some small rocks, stove had no problem heating up dinner.

With this tube, you can leave your CamelBak bottle in your packs side pocket.

I like Therm-a-Rest inflatable pads better, they pack smaller. This pad is a little on the big size. The Ridge Rest is great for car camping or sleeping in the back of my pick-up truck.

I bought this sack to pack my 3/4 sleep pad. Works great.

Helmet fit me okay, even with winter skull cap underneath. Not that hot in the summer either.

Okay, but better biners on the market from BD and other manufacturers. Ended up using mine to clip my crampons onto outside of pack.

I bought the smaller sizes. These are the only cams I own at this time, so I can't compare them to other makes. I've used them a few times to get up and down dry falls, they hold fast. Very simple to use.

Took no time to break-in. Excellent vertical support. The soles and uppers held up excellent against Nevada Limestone, which is known to destroy boots. These boots come with metal lace hooks, not the plastic one's Vasque has put on their XCR's. Looking for great boot, buy the Wasatch!

I too question why Vasque used plastic hooks? That said, this boot took no time to break-in, just a couple of hours of walking at work. I wore them after a late snow fall in the Spring Moutains and my feet stayed dry. I replaced my Wasatch's with these, I like the Wasatch better. I'll keep these just for trails, and buy another pair of Wasatch for rock and boulder hopping. I just don't trust those plastic lace hooks.

Great light weight pants. Packs small, breathable and waterproof. I too found the zippers a little stiff. I put some lube on them and fixed the problem. I haven't tested how tough they are. I have snow pants, so the no gaiter issue is not a problem. I was just looking for a waterproof, breathable rain pant and found them.

I bought my Tricams to help me get up and down some tall dry falls in the canyons here in southern Nevada.(we all don't hang in casino's) Bigger ones work better for me, but I too love the pink one!

I also bought 70m Golden Dry. Extra length comes in handy. Great feel, nice bag.

This is my first belaying device. I read other reviews on this device and it works just as they say. Works excellent for me and if I loose it, I will buy it again. I like the control it gives and I haven't experienced rope problems when using it. If you haven't got one, buy it!

I too bought both, easy to control. Had no problem in wet conditions but one lever got a little stiff at freezing temps. I would highly recommend these ascenders.

Excellent biner. I also like the red safety stripe. The Am'D fits tight into my Petzl Pirana Descender making it feel like one unit. Great price for a quality carabiner.

Just started climbing, nothing to technical. After wearing rentals and friends, this by far is the most comfortable harness I've worn. Noticed instructors were using it, recommended it also.

Used the pack three times so far, very easy to adjust during first trip. Lots of room.(I tend to over pack) I was able to fit compressed zero degree bag in compartment with no problem. I wish side adjusting straps had buckles also, not just adjusters. All in all, I would highly recommend pack.
