Cloudveil Gridlock Fleece Jacket - Men's

Cloudveil Gridlock Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 9, 2009

ok. first, i have to say the grid pattern on the jacket is hard to get used to, but it does grow on you. Go for black if you want to hide the grid pattern....black looks better comparing the blue as the pattern is not as obvious. i bought one black and one blue as my friend wanted a black one. weird thing, though, that the vendor tag on the black showed the material as Thermal Pro while the blue one showed Wind Pro. both jacket materials look identical so i think they're both the same.

very warm jacket, sturdy. have not tested wind resistance part, but it's a very comfortable jacket, and layer easy compare to North Face Denali.

between Denali and Gridlock- i definitely recommend Gridlock, especially when it's on sale.

Mountain Hardwear WindStopper Tech Jacket - Men's

January 5, 2009

i'm about the same height and much heavier (180 :( ) and i need even Large is a little bigger for me. I think Medium will be perfect for you as even large is bigger than i would have like. besides, this is the kind of jacket that you want to be a little more snug for better heat retention. either way, you should have no problem wearing a shirt or even a sweater with the medium

Arc'teryx Alpha LT Pant - Men's

July 24, 2008

it's listed that suspenders are removable, but can you remove it COMPLETELY so you can just wear it as a pant? I have an outdoor research mentor pant- suspenders are removable, but only at the front, you still have to use the suspender.i believe Mountain Hardwear Defiant pant allows suspenders be removed completely.thanks
