Cool Cord

Works great but doesn't coil back up the way it came, which is ok 'cause it needs to be straighter to work anyway.

Dynastar Legend Pro Rider Alpine Ski

Dynastar Legend Pro Rider Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 October 15, 2007

This ski crushes everything it touches. Sure, it's not a groomer ski, but it is the only fat ski I've been on that not only comes out of the race dept but is built like it. Tell the guy that can't turn 'em to buy some sissy K2's.

Warmth for your Buck

Lafuma Extreme 800 Sleeping Bag: 40 Degree

Lafuma Extreme 800 Sleeping Bag: 40 Degree

Rating for this product: 5 July 17, 2007

This is the greatest little bag I have ever used. It weighs nothing compared to other sleeping bags, and I have been toasty warm under 40 degrees. The inside is really soft, and the zippers are smooth. If you summer camp, don't leave home without it. They could get away with charging more (don't tell). I'm going to buy a winter bag from Lafuma too....They Rock!

Great Bag

Marmot Trestles 15 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Spirafil

Marmot Trestles 15 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Spirafil

Rating for this product: 5 May 30, 2007

I took it on a river trip. I got it wet the first day. Needless to say I was cold, but the bag dries really fast and came back to shape like new! Don't float away without one!

Great layer

Marmot Original DriClime Windshirt - Men's

Marmot Original DriClime Windshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 15, 2007

This is a great layer as well as a shell. It has "straight shirt tales" for tucking in yet works great by itself. I have an older dry clime vest which has a thin stretch panel back....too bad they don't make 'em like that any mare. In general, it's a wind breaker that wicks...awesome!

I bought these for my son. He wears them every day to school and swears by them. When he runs track he just uses the same shoes!

Awesome Tee

The North Face Vaporwick Ruckus Tee - Short-Sleeve - Men's

The North Face Vaporwick Ruckus Tee - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 7, 2006

This is the best all around non-cotton tee I have ever used. I guide hikes and on bikes, and this is comfort, wicking, and UV in one. All the good parts of cotton with none of the bad.

Scarpa Denali TT Alpine Touring Boot

Scarpa Denali TT Alpine Touring Boot

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2006

As a full time pro patroller, I needed a boot I could wear for 9+ hours, but I didn't want to give up alpine boot performance. This is the best of both worlds. Scarpa hit a home run with this one.

A MUST for your quill

K2 Axis AK Alpine Ski

K2 Axis AK Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 February 3, 2004

I just got back from a week at Baldface Lodge (Nelson, BC). The Axis AK was the perfect tool, floating through trees, holding on the super steeps, and landing airs. Gotta ski down the cat road a bit? This thing thinks its a sport ski!
