prAna LoLa Sport Tank and Katie Tank

prAna Lola Sport Top - Women's

prAna Lola Sport Top - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 May 27, 2009

I bought two of the LoLa tops and one of the Katie tops for climbing and general summertime wear. Even though I am considered "petite" size (5' 4" and 125 lbs), I ordered M sizes in them all because my trunk measurement around at the bust is 36". I rated these tops as adequate for the job because although the prints are beautiful, the sizing was VERY inconsistent. One of the LoLa tops fit me tightly while the other two fit around the bust but were looser around the waist. I do consider the breathable material the redeeming factor for these tops, just do not plan on much support for a high-intensity activity.

5th pair of keens

KEEN Ridgeline Trail Running Shoe - Women's

KEEN Ridgeline Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2008

For running, these shoes will go on and off road. The nubs are not too nubby, but having said that, they have fantastic grip! The weight is super light and the mesh construction allows for great breathability while coushioning your foot. I suggest these shoes for narrow feet. If you have a wide foot these shoes will feel very snug overall and not very comfortable while running. I ordered a 6, which is my normal size, and I wear them with very thin micro crew running socks. A thicker sock would probably make them too tight. Take them out for a few long walks to break them in before jogging or running long distances.

second pair of tekos

Teko Ingeo Light Hiking Sock - Women's

Teko Ingeo Light Hiking Sock - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2008

This is my second pair of tekos, and I love the fit and comfort level for a sock at this price. Not to mention they are biodegradable. I love this company's philosophy and am happy to support them by buying their products. These socks out-perform other hiking socks I have bought at higher prices, and because they are not 100% wool, they don't get the annoying balled-up fuzzies! Wash and hang them to dry and they retain their shape perfectly!

Mountain Hardware tanks

Mountain Hardwear Lightning Halter Top - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Lightning Halter Top - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 October 17, 2008

I use these tanks to boulder in at the gym, for which they work fine. If you don't cinch the straps up enough, they will bunch around your lats. When you wash them, you also have to tie the ends of the straps together so they don't get lost in the material or come out completely. From Mountain Hardware, I was hoping for a thinner performance material (these are pretty thick cotton - so if you sweat it stays on you) with some better quality strapping.
