This jacket is killing it. The cut seemed a little weird at first, long arms and tight through the shoulders and armpits. Once I got out and hiked and skied in it these issues disappeared and the jacket was extremely comfortable. I have used it to ski tour during some very heavy, wet spring storms that left my partners soaking wet. I was bone dry in this shell. Breathability is great, easily better than Gore Tex XCR and comparable to my Backcountry.com Event shell(while feeling a little more durable). This may not be the perfect technical shell but it is very very good and at this price you can't afford not to give it a try.

Another great top from icebreaker.  The wool is soft and perfect for a thick baselayer or thin midlayer.  It definitely provides a lot of warmth for as thin and light as it is. The piece is well contructed(stitching, seams, ect...  I like the thumb loops but the cuffs seam a little wide for my wrists and hands and the sleeves are long. I love the long sleeves but the cuffs are definitely a little wide for my hands This will be great for skiing in, but is a little bulky when you are wearing the piece in warmer weather or casually.  So far, I love it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a warm base layer or light layering piece. I'm 6'3", 200lbs. and the XL fits perfect.

Conditions encountered: Mank, tracked Mank, refrozen mank. These skis owned the nasty conditions. Skied the 186 length and they are great for me(6'3", 190lbs). Stable at speed, quick, easy turn initiation in tight trees. Even got these skis to carve turns on the groomers. Definitely could be a one ski quiver in Utah.
Skied these a bunch last year. They are definitely the most confidence inspiring, versatile skis I have skied. The stiffness is perfect for charging hard or bouncing through pow and trees. You can dump speed incredibly quick thanks to the "Slarvability" of the skis. Love em.

Skied 2 days on the 188cms, one resort, one tour.
They were fun and handled a variety of conditions. I think I would have preferred these skis mounted a little bit forward because they took some work to initiate a turn and it was easy to overpower the tails. Overall a fun ski that can handle anything.

These skis are so much fun and very easy to ski. They take no effort to turn and with a subtle touch you can make a variety of turn shapes. They seem to excel in playful, bouncy turns, but they are capable of high speed charging as well. A bit soft for an everyday resort ski, but they would make an awesome backcountry ski. Definitely not for hard chargers who like stiff, planky boards.
Surprisingly(or maybe not) these ski just like my 185cm Ravens(Scratch Steeze) only they feel a little shorter.

I love the shorts. better then expected. can't wait to put them on again.

I love this pad. It provides just enough comfort and warmth, but what really makes it great is that it packs so small. The small size packs down to less than a nalgene and just disappears in my pack. Highly recommended for the golite crowd.

I bought this square compression sack after using granite gears' round ones for years. I thought the square shape might be easier to pack clothes into and to fit in my pack. It didn't seem to make much difference. I like my round Air Compressors better, but this Rock Solid does seem to be more durable.

Small, light and it keeps your pack dry. What more could you want or need. Oh, the drawstring works really well to cinch the cover down.

This was my favorite of all the backpacking meals I have tried.

These are easy to make and taste great.

These pots are great. Light weight, useful sizes. The nonstick is great for cooking and makes cleaning a breeze. Of course, a highly motivated Airline employee will be able to bend these pots no matter how carefully they are packed.

Great fleece for any condition. My wife took this to South America for a 6 week trip and wore it literally every single day. It can be worn as a base layer, mid layer, or as an outer layer and it performs well at all these uses.

We had no problems with cooking these, it was pretty simple. My wife enjoyed these but I found them much to dry and really didn't like them. Maybe if we had added a bit more water...

This soup tastes great, is easy to make and you can burn the package, but thats not the best part. A serving of this soup contains an insane amount of protein and fiber. Just what you need when you're backpacking.

These glasses look great and do their job well. I have had some issues with the screws that hold the lenses in coming loose.

I've skied these poles more then 60 days and really abuse my poles. These have held up perfectly. The flick lock is superior. I've broken many pairs of poles(Leki, Scott, Voile, K2) but these hold up to all the abuse I can give them.

I have used these skins 100+ days on twin tips. As long as the skin is the correct length the tail clip works great. I have had glue stick to my ski bases, but the bases were not waxed or well cared for. I simply scraped the glue off and waxed the bases. Problem solved!
